Calvary Salt Lake — Attraction in Murray

I came here to learn more about God, and not only did I get that (and it was an amazing place to go to after I gave my life to Jesus) but I also found a TRUE FAMILY here, every Sunday I feel like I'm going to hang out with my family and learn more about God together, which is what going to church is all about! The body of Christ is here and the Holy Spirit. God has truly blessed this church in many ways and allowed the church to bless so many others back. Love going verse by verse in the Bible every Sunday and Wednesdays and all of the Bible studies. God's Word really is the most important in our lives and here at Calvary.

And the chapel deli store and thrift store Calvary has raises money to give to different outreaches like the pregnancy resource center, the rescue mission for the homeless, compassion international, supporting missionaries around the world, and operation Christmas child, I'm probably missing some other things, as well as helping others who need it.

Calvary is really special. The Bible studies have been invaluable in my life and I've learned SO much. Calvary isn't afraid to invite Biblical scholars to teach here and all of the pastors are incredibly knowledgeable. And pastor Terry is hilarious too, which is a plus. You truly get fed here spiritually. The worship is awesome. And if anyone reading this wants to check Calvary SLC out, be sure to also look around at the foyer to see all the things from Israel and to look at the rooms for the children's ministry and the family chapel. The building is like a museum and art too!

Every Sunday is so fun and filling...

Calvary Chapel is OPEN & Socially Distancing the chairs; they put two XX's between you and the person adjacent to you. They are taking temperatures as you go in. There is a sign when you walk in that states "Masks are recommended." However, only a handful of people were wearing masks at the boutique event and Sunday service. Masks help with the prevention of spreading germs. Cold & flu season are upon us. How does this help with the spread of germs? It doesn't. Masks are important. Aside from that, we are a Holy Spirit filled, going thru the bible, word by word, chapter by chapter, scripture by scripture, body of believers, a family!! My church family. We have a Live Spirit-filled worship team, anointed preaching and teaching. EXCELLENT CHILDRENS/YOUTH CLASSES AND CURRICULUM!!! Come on out!! Bring your bible or use one provided at the church. OR... Go to calvaryslc.org to watch LIVE streaming and archived services. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE ARCHIVED TEACHING. you won't be left starving...

I am appalled by the treatment I have received. The Church Management ignores most e-mails then gets mad after a while without giving you notice that you’re bothering them. I understand people can’t always come to the phone so I spoke with Daniel in person after making an appointment but that didn’t do much good. I guess don’t complain or even make suggestions because then Terry or a pastor will get mad and retaliate! I don’t know who is still around but people been passive aggressive and don’t act like true Christians. Daniel was cool but my experience went downhill after talking to Mike Lorange and at this point, he’s got a problem with grudge if he still dislikes me 👎 I just wish that after all this time, people will be more courteous, learn to forgive and be more open to...
