I wasn't overly impressed by this place at all. The rooms are nice enough and everything looks to be updated except for the TV's which look like the first edition l.e.d flat screens that came out. The room had a mini fridge and microwave, so that was a definite plus and added convenience. The sheets had stains and spots on them which looked like dry blood or something of the sort. They appeared to have been washed and reused instead of thrown away, which they probably should have. The guy working the front desk was rude and seemed bothered and inconvenienced by having to do his job and answer any type of questions. The evening/night shift lady didn't seem any happier or helpful and everyone working the front desk could use an obvious course in customer service. Nobody wants to spend money to stay somewhere where the employees are rude and miserable, I sure don't. The front door to the lobby locks at a certain hour so you need your room key to get back in. The overnight front desk lady seemed bothered by the fact that she had to actually get up from the desk and buzz the door, which is probably the only exercise she's performed. There was a free hot breakfast served in the morning which was another plus and for the most part, the property seemed pretty well maintained and clean otherwise. The location was also right next to a 24 hr gas station, a Wendy's, a chicken place and a Burger King all within walking distance. There was also a nice view of the mountains in the far distance. Other than the dirty bedding and the sour faces that work the front desk, it wasn't a bad place to stay but you can definitely find better options than here for the price. Definitely not an upscale or luxury hotel of any sorts.

They executed well in every area. I would definitely return. Marriot Bonvoy hotels are expensive in the area, and this was mid-low at the $150 range. Rooms: Clean, nice clean bed, good desk setup, working AC, lots of light. Can't complain. Had everything nailed. Obviously it wasn't a suite, but I paid for the basic room. Service: At the desk, good. Professional and helpful. They were at the desk too. Not dawdling somewhere making you wait. Also, they carried an excellent breakfast. Location: A bit off the path. Not too bad. Area was fine. Approaching the actual hotel was a bit jenky, almost accessable via an alley like drive behind other businesses. Still not a bad area with plenty of other stuff around.

Nice little hotel outside Salt Lake City, free parking and free breakfast. Hard to find with navigation since the hotel is behind a chicken restaurant and car was right next to a Hampton Inn. Has a few restaurants next to it, a Wendy's within walking distance. Breakfast was ok, keeps you filled. Jeanine who was working both the front desk and breakfast station was awesome. Gave us recommendations on some local restaurants. Rooms were on a small side than most Fairfield Inn I have been. The elevator door is small. Barely fits the luggage cart, you had to slant it a bit. There is only a room for 2 people with a luggage cart in the elevator. Ice machine is only located on the first floor.

I have a nice story.

After driving 12 hours, from San Diego, we arrived at around Midnight pulling into a near-empty parking lot. Child screaming, wife bitching etc.

We arrived to a locked door, and promptly rang the bell as it directed. After 5 minutes, I told my wife to get in the car, and continued to wait an additional 15 minutes. Meanwhile, I was ringing the door, while calling the front desk just to catch anybody's ear if they were around. By luck, a person happened to walk out, and I slipped inside, beckoning for my wife to come. My wife and kiddo come inside, while we wait, my daughter (2yr old) ran around a little ways away. My wife went to go get her, and happened to see someone in a dark corner with a cell phone. My wife motioned for my kiddo to come to me, and she briskly walked over to the front desk, where I was located. A few moments later, a lady in black (no name tag), appeared, and asked the person on the phone to hold on for a second. She looked at me, and asked "Do you need help with something?" I said "Yes, we are just waiting." She opened the door and went around to the front desk. I then asked, "Do you have a room available for the night?" She replied "I'm sorry, we are all booked for the night". Confused, as I recalled the empty parking lot, we felt a eerie feeling, a bit offended and went back to our car (handicapped, I am a war veteran who lost my leg and eye in the war). We decided to go to a different location, but as we got in my car, my wife told me she was able to book a room online at that exact location. By this time we knew something was up, but we just didn't understand why. We called the other Marriot in Downtown and they had plenty of room, only 30% filled, ironic that the downtown location was nice and open, but not the remote, empty parking lot Marriot.

As we were getting ready with directions, the lady came back outside and said that someone cancelled and that there was a room available. I figured she was bullshitting by now to cover her ass. You can't bullshit a bullshitter, but that might have worked if I was someone else. We left, and told her we had already booked with the other place.

The placard that had a name for the Manager said McKenzie White (really hope she wasn't the Manager), but whoever was working the nightshift 11/25 well, that was her. Honestly i'm not one for bad reviews, as I am a fellow businessman, but there is a time and a place for them, and this was one of them.

I will be posting this on Marriot Rewards as well in hopes of at least one night back from my stay, this was simply sub-par...

I have stayed at hundreds of Marriott properties and this my worst experience by far. I am a Marriott Titanium Elite member. When checking in on the mobile app, I requested a 4pm late checkout, which is a guaranteed benefit for Platinum Elite members and higher. When I arrived at the hotel, I reconfirmed my request with the front desk and they said that my 4pm checkout wouldn't be a problem and the gentleman said he put me down for the 4pm late checkout.||At about 11:30am the next morning, I received a call from Lexi at the front desk and she said I have to leave at 11:30. I explained to her that the gentleman working the front desk the night before put me down for a late checkout. She said she didn't see that and that I would have to leave at 11:30. I explained to Lexi that a 4pm late checkout is a guaranteed benefit for my elite status. Lexi said that wasn't offered at this hotel. I told Lexi that I would be calling Marriott and Lexi responded that I still have to leave at 11:30am or she would call the cops!||I called Marriott customer service and they confirmed that I have a guaranteed 4pm late checkout benefit due to my elite status. They called Lexi and explained that the 4pm checkout is a guaranteed benefit for my elite status. Lexi told the Marriott agent that she still wasn't going to let me stay until 4pm.||Marriott then transferred me to another department to provide me with compensation due to this hotel refusing to honor the guaranteed benefit. This department called the hotel again and this time they were told by the front desk that there had been a misunderstanding and that they would let me stay until 4:00pm.||I then went to the front desk to find out what was going on. Lexi was there, along with the gentleman who checked me in the night before. The gentleman apologized for what had happened and confirmed (for the 2nd time) that I could stay until 4pm. Lexi told me that she was doing as she was told. I'm not sure who told her to refuse my guaranteed benefit. She surely wasn't following what Marriott had told her on the phone.||This was a very stressful situation for my son and I and it was completely uncalled for and avoidable. The only reason I didn't give this hotel a 1 star review is because the gentleman who checked me in resolved the situation. I have been loyal to Marriott so that that I can be eligible for this late checkout benefit. When hotels refuse to honor this published benefit, it is a slap in the face to their most...

I made reservations for may-11th-24 and it said check in is at 3pm. It was 1pm, so I needed a rm ASAP,so I went to the hotel to see if I could get checked in early. When I arrived at the place it looked like it was going through renovations. There was plastic on the windows and the front was currently getting fixed.I walked and asked the front self lady if I could check in early and she said no that I can't be checked in until 6pm😳. I said when it was check in time and she said 3pm but their system is down. She said all the phones and wifi and the computers are not working at all and there is a tech trying to fix it and it has been down all day. I asked her will can you still check me in even if everything is down?. She said no she cannot do anything because the system is down.So I asked her,Will there is a fairland hotel down the street from my house, do you think you can transfer my reservation there since I can't check in, and she said no I can't. The only thing I can do is you go there make a new reservation and when my system comes back up I can cancel the reservation. I said ok and went to the next hotel, I went on trip.com and just requested cancellation just in case. I got an email back saying it was successfully cancelled. The next day I got an email saying that they tried to cancel it but they couldn't cancel it. I called them and they said that the front desk guy said they never offered to go to another hotel and make a new reservation there and they could have checked me in and my reservation can't be cancelled.I explained why I couldn't check in and why I went to the other hotel. So trip.com contacted them and explained my situation. Then they told him that even though the system was down they can still check me in. I told trip.com that they told me they couldn't check me in until the system was up and that wasn't until 6-7pm. Then trip called them back and their reply was. The system was up all morning until 3pm so we could have checked her in?It was one lie after another, unless the problem was just the front desk girl that was supposed to check me in. maybe she didn't want to check me in or she was * I don't know but this place * and I didn't even get a chance to stay there to say how fully it **.If there was a date for negative 100 I would rate this place for that. I will not recommend anybody to stay here. I'm putting my experience on social media to Warren ppl so this won't happen to...
