Coming from downtown Muskegon, it was not obvious to me how to catch the trail towards Pere Marquette as there was not much signage. Part of the trail is currently a construction site for Adelaide condominiums and you cannot get through by sticking to the lakeshore. Instead at W. Western Avenue by Cole's Quality Foods and Fricano's Lake, there is a No Outlet sign and about 1/4 mile that you just run on this road. At the end there is a narrow entry to continue on the lakeshore path which continues for several miles and is definitely worth...
