Placed all of my china, weddings albums,family pictures, and kids items they had created growing up and some other family memories in storage and left to go travel as a nurse against🦠. Come back to get my items and my unit had been robbed. Everything gone except the bed and large wall pictures. The worst part is someone had picked the lock or had a skeleton key because my original lock was there. Had the office manager check and records show my gate code had not been used since the day I placed everything in the unit. Made a police report and guess what...many instances of the same thing happening have been reported. The insurance will do you no good because they want pictures ( were all stolen from the unit) proof of purchase(irreplaceable items, passed down from generations not bought). So not only did I loose my entire wedding album,memory box,grandma's china,China, memories, and all of our family photos...They so oh well, no proof we can't help you. Cleared out my unit the 2nd week of the month..and yep you guessed it. No partial month refunds. Save yourself the heartache of loosing things that are irreplaceable and pick a different...
Read moreI will never rent out a storage unit from Public Storage again. The gates for the adjacent location are open during the weekends. During the recent snow storm they didn’t even have anyone clear out the roads. Why allow access when you are going to endanger people? I honestly thought I was going to be stuck.
And if you are wanting to dispute the bill for your final month they don’t advise you to clear your balance first. I had an automatic payment plan cause I knew I was going to be gone due to military obligations and they did not help me out at all. When I called corporate to explain them my situation the first person accused me of “stealing” for being able to get on the property when the gates were open. And the second agent I talked to faked a bad connection but was crystal clear the entire first half of the call.
If the $1 for the first month is enticing, don’t let it fool you. Because they’ll try to get as much out of you as they can. This is the worst customer service I have ever...
Read moreI rented the space in 2015 or 16 and have been a Single unit customer during that time but in 2019 Read it a second unit problems have been minimal but a few weeks ago the door on my unit would not open could not gain access to my unit Call and left a message that I could not get into my unit a return call was made and syud maintenance would be notified maintenance came within an hour and told me the Spring was broke on the door. I was told they would contact me within a week and let me know to come up and take my lock off and the repair people would put the new Spring in. I received no call Sunday October 4th I could not access my unit and called and left a message and was irritated when I could not get into my unit after 3 weeks. I did not get a return call of any kind it is now Thursday October the 8 and I still have not gotten a phone call I called and left another message so I am posting the review now Hoping I will get...
