Whataburger — Restaurant in Mustang

I was in town visiting family and made a stop here one morning for breakfast. I've never had Whataburger for breakfast before. I got the Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit , Hashbrowns , and a Sweet Tea and ate in the dining area. The cashier was very nice and talkative and brought my food out to my table with a carrier of things you might need like napkins , ketchup , utensils , etc. Also later after my meal the Manager came by asking how everything was and also talked to some of the other diners.

The Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit was okay. It sounded better than it was. The biscuit itself was made perfectly and tasted good as did the chicken , but next time I would get it without the honey butter. The Hashbrowns were like big fat french fries which I liked and I used the regular ketchup and the spicy ketchup. I didn't really care for the spicy ketchup because it just tasted like a lot of Tabasco in it. I like spicy food , but not a real fan of Tabasco and it was really strong. I love Sweet Tea , but dang how many cups of sugar did they put in this thing. I had to mix 2 thirds sweet to 1 third unsweetened. I had sweet tea every day for a week at different restaurants in OKC and this was by far the sweetest.

I live in Las Vegas and we have a Whataburger on the Strip that is 2 stories and serves alcohol. I've only been once with a co-worker for a burger. They are supposed to build some off the Strip too. At the drive thru at 10:30 PM on Sunday June 13 2021 I was met with the most blatantly disrespectful attitude I have ever received as a customer or an employee of food service. After all was said and done my order was INCOMPLETE. I finally called the store which I wasn’t even going to do in the first place because I didn’t care enough to bother until they didn’t give me everything I paid for. The manager offered to replace the meal. I come back at 12:20 and they suddenly have no idea what I’m talking about. I’m met with the same attitude at the window and told they’ll do it “this one time”. I am absolutely and completely dumbfounded. This location has done a complete 180 in customer service and accuracy since the time they opened.

Update 9/29/21: They were not taking more than ONE cars order at a time in the drive thru with slim to none in the lobby. Complete joke.

Honestly, this location isn't good for food. I went here once, and the burger didn't taste good. Was a very long wait both times I went. Today, I gave it another chance today since I went with my boyfriend and his dad to get dinner. Still long wait. Another thing is that this time, the food caused horrible stomach pain. My boyfriend even said how his stomach hurted for about 5 minutes, but for me, my stomach has been hurting for OVER AN HOUR. As I'm typing this, my stomachache has been getting worse over time. Honestly, I don't recommend this place unless you want your stomach to be in so much pain. Usually, my stomach isn't weak and sensitive, but today, from 1 to 10, 9 is the most pain I've ever felt.

I thought I would give it another try to see maybe its just the previous workers, but after today, I don't think I'll ever come back ever again. Maybe some other Whataburger, but definitely not here in Mustang. 🙂

Edit: been almost 3 hours, still in a lot of pain and saw others get food poisoning from whataburger...
