Went on 8/2 for the 11 hour deep sea fishing and am very disappointed. The crew member on the left side of the boat was rude and complaining the whole trip because he had to work. Asked to have him fix the hook on the rod and he never came back. I was faster grabbing a different rod from inside the boat vs waiting on him. Also the guy serving food seemed lazy and not really wanting to work. The same guy that didn’t help with the hook, at the end of the trip came around asking for tips and my nephew handed him a hook he found on the ground and he immediately threw it overboard and said it was bent and walked away, no thank you or anything, very rude. Fishing was horrible, 1st spot lots of biting but then the captain moved because he said they were loosing to much tackle and every spot there after was a dud. He waited so long before moving the boat to the point some people just sat down because of nothing happening. Also he went back about 30 min early, overheard the one crew member tell the guy up top to just take his time. Guess since nothing was biting and not much time left he decided screw it and go back. Have to say very very disappointed. We just told them to keep the fish as a tip. We had 5 fish between my nephew and I on an 11 hour trip. Definitely was not worth the money. Last year was good but this year was horrible having to deal with a couple of the crew members. Will definitely think about a different charter next year. In response to the second comment from the shop, so you’re telling me that listening to the crewmember complain, talking about a gun, saying he is ignoring the other passenger, , talking about needing therapy And being rude when my nephew hands him a hook that he found on the ground so someone wouldn’t get hurt is part of fishing? It’s also interesting that your comment below changed from your initial comment. The cruise itself was wonderful. The captain was very friendly and did a great job. His crew member was also great and she was very knowledgeable! The ocean was beautiful! We did get to see some dolphins which the kids enjoyed, although they were all sleeping so nothing too exciting. Giving a 4/5 due to scheduling. We booked the 8:15am cruise specifically for 2 reasons: #1: our son had over heated a few days prior and gotten really burnt, so we wanted to go early before the heat of the day and higher UV. #2: we wanted the best option to see active dolphins, which even their website said their best cruise time for dolphin activity was the 8:15am. At 8pm the night before our cruise they called to inform me that our excursion was only half booked, with my family of 7 only) and they could not take their boat (for 15) out at half capacity. We were given the option for the 8am cruise on the larger boat that seats approx 50 (including my family there would have been 24 onboard)- we specifically booked the smaller boat with less passengers for a more private tour closer to the water, so I declined that excursion. Our only other option was the 10:30am cruise on the same boat we originally booked. When I asked how many were booked I was told it had THREE passengers. Adding my family would make 10. So my boat of 7 was cancelled for a boat of three, originally. Lucky for them, they were able to sell more tickets the morning of and now our boat was OVERBOOKED with 16 passengers and 2 captains on a boat that has 15 seats. Again, the cruise was great, captain was great…just very irritated with the scheduling issues and can’t help to think we could have had better chances of more activity on the earlier cruise. Overall, I would recommend, but keep a flexible schedule the day of.

Overall We were disappointed.... Let me explain: The absolute best part of this "Dolphin excursion" was at registration... We were greeted and helped by a young lady named, "Hope"... She was OUTSTANDING and the highlight to our visit!! She should be commended for her ability to adapt to each guest and have everyone smiling with her guidance throughout the process during registration!!! Keep doing the great job Hope!

Everything went downhill after that and here's why; The vessel used is about a hundred years old and it looks it. They over book and squeeze you in like packed sardines. They have an indoor A/C area which only seats about 40 but 60 people cram into there(standing room only)..... The A/C was not keeping up with the heat with all those people inside..... The "90" minute excursion consist of 30 minutes traveling time to and from a spot where dolphins are swimming..... And Big negative concern was: Since we were inside sitting due to age mobility issues and trying to absorb some A/C, one time about 40 minutes into the excursion we saw everyone pointing and looking in one direction since they saw dolphins, we stood up and went near the doorway to hear one of the employees narrating information about dolphins and other points of interest on the "outside" deck..... We approached (an unfriendly) employee that was stationed at the concession stand and asked about this advertised "Educational Narration" and how come we couldn't hear anything inside the A/C area, and his answer was that the speakers have been broken for a long time and you'd have to go out on deck if you wanted to hear the narration..... He then proceeded to say (sarcastically joking) that it cost a lot of money to fix the wiring and if I knew something about electronics, that I would be welcome to fix it!!!! WHAT?? ASKing a customer to help fix their ship??? REALLY?? We missed all of the advertised, "Educational Narration" because we chose to stay inside with the A/C.... :-(

Well, needless to say, we didn't enjoy our time with this excursion.. We would have given a one star, but thanks to the OUTSTANDING customer service of "HOPE", we gave...

We took a Dolphin and sea life tour for 2:15pm which lasted around 90 minutes. The booking process was easy although I didn't find availability in thier site the same morning of the tour and so I called and got myself and my family booked over phone which was smooth.

The price sounded reasonable and as advised we reached 30 minutes in advance. They have a designated parking area and you need to text a number and follow a slightly cumbersome process to get your car validated for 12 hours but for free. They have a gift shop at the 2nd floor and that's where they issue you the ticket to board. The 1st floor is where they seem to be breeding a ton of fishes, shrimps and crabs in large tubs.

Once you finish the procedures, you line up outside to board the boat. It was opened at exactly 2:15 which meant we were out in the sun for about 20 mins.

The boat was in good condition with ample seating spaces upstairs and in the deck. There is an AC enclosure with chairs and tables with a counter to buy snacks and drinks from. P We took the top floor seats and the ride was smooth to start with while in the backwaters and ended up with some rolling and pitching when we hit the sea. Unfortunately we didnt catch much sea life however the crew were helping people touch and feel some crabs and the voice over was nice and informative although not for more than 15-20 mins of the whole time. The crew were super helpful and tried their best to stop and show us some dolphins. I saw 3-4 sightings of dolphins and was hoping for more. Finally on our way back it started raining and so we had to take shelter inside the AC coach.

Our family enjoyed the ride and the crew's service. We would have been overjoyed to have seen more sea life though and it is not their fault that we were unlucky. The wait was a little longer than...
