What an incredible 90-minute sunset cruise! From start to finish, the experience was top-notch, largely thanks to Captain Tod's awesome, friendly, and easygoing demeanor. He truly set the tone for a fantastic time (just be prepared to dance without jumping!). Our server, Billy, also deserves a shout-out for being incredibly sweet, polite, and attentive throughout the trip. While the snack options were limited to chips, the drink menu was extensive and impressive – they had everything from classic on-the-rocks drinks to a wide array of frozen cocktails, and yes, I enjoyed both! The jello shots were a surprisingly delicious addition and went down perhaps too easily! The music selection was great, keeping the energy high. A particularly memorable moment was when "The Conga" came on, and my husband rallied everyone for a spontaneous conga line – so much fun! We even celebrated his upcoming birthday, along with Drew's, with some celebratory shots. The ride itself offered beautiful scenery. We got to see charming houses on one side and a tranquil nature sanctuary on the other, all perfectly timed. Hanging out in the bay to watch the sunset was breathtaking. And, of course, a highlight was waving and hooting at other party boats passing by – it added to the festive atmosphere! A big plus for this boat was the onboard bathroom, which was definitely a necessity with all the drinks. The after party was at Dead Dog saloon which had live music. If you're looking for a lively and memorable sunset experience, this is definitely the one to book.

The Pie Eyed Parrot is one of the best sunset cruises I’ve ever been on!! I love the ubeat music!! If you’re traveling from out of state or you’re from the Myrtle Beach area. You’re on a party boat creating unforgettable memories. The drinks are so delicious and you can’t go wrong with the Jello shots. From going on my very first cruise last year to going on many more sunset cruises. It’s so much fun to dance in front of a sold out venue on the upper deck and the lower deck. I want to give a big shoutout to Rylee, Allie, Jeanne, Todd and the rest of the crew for all they do and for always making my night so memorable. I’ll see you on the next cruise!

We had a blast sitting on the upper deck! There was a generous mix of music and our server/bar attendant Billy was attentive, friendly and fun. Wish they would add some drink holders to the top deck along the railings just due to the breeze from the boat. All and all it was worth the money and the drinks were very fairly priced.

After a fantastic time 2 weeks ago with my husband for our anniversary while in town, I decided to bring my daughter and 2 girls from her bridal party to the sunset cruise for fun on our bachelorette week in Myrtle Beach. We had 2 more in town but they were not 21 and the website and booking site say 21 and over only. While waiting to board, a family in front of us was allowed on with a teenage girl. Apparently it’s the captain’s discretion. This family was a walk-up. We paid and reserved our spots online previously. The cruise started out great. The vibe was chill and the drinks were great! The reason I chose to return to Pie-Eyed Parrot is because they enforce mask wearing while walking around and they have enough distance between each party for safety. There was a large party in the middle on loungers and 3 decided to come squeeze in between my party and another. The other party was able to move down enough, which they did immediately, but we were not as there was another party at the table on our opposite side. One of the women literally touched a girl in our party with her hair numerous times. She was so close that there was no room to even turn around. I asked our sweet waitress if they had stopped enforcing the social distancing and she said they still do and would speak to another staff member. Jeannie came up to me and at that point another woman from this party had already got up and sat on the other side of us so we were now sandwiched in, although she did leave about 2 feet between us. Jeannie said she saw the issue and went over to the 3 girls and spoke to them for quite some time and left. At this point, the party started getting loud and verbally assaultive to ‘whoever had an issue’ (clearly directing their attention to us) for a few minutes before moving to the lower level. They made a huge scene and even got a man on the opposite side of the boat to say rude things towards us. They kept saying we were not social distancing which shows their ignorance since all 4 of us were in the same party and we were not wearing our masks because we were sitting at our table, that had been assigned by the captain. Our entire cruise was ruined. We were verbally accosted in the presence of the entire top floor of the boat including the captain and would have left immediately to take our celebration elsewhere had we been on land. Jeannie returned towards the very end because I had asked our nice waitress what her name was. She said she was the owner and not responsible for the actions of others and hoped I wouldn’t leave a bad review. I’m sorry but the situation should have been handled differently to where we were not put on blast as the people who complained that this party had left their seats (where you are to stay during the cruise unless using the bathroom) and were in the space reserved for...

Me and my fiancé took the sunset cruise tonight. We ordered food right off the bat to make sure we would have something to eat before the sunset. Waited and waited, finally asked a worker if our food was gunna be out any time soon seeing how we paid for it and ordered it over a half an hour ago. The sun had already gone down and still no food. She comes back 10 minutes after we asked and said do you have a receipt, checked my email and they don’t send you receipts when you buy anything. Finally she looked our order up on her tablet and it said we bought and received our food. I had to repeatedly tell her we didn’t receive any food and at this point I was fighting the urge to be rude because of how frustrating the situation was. She left and 15 minutes later the “cook” came up to us on the top deck slurring her words and insisting that there was a glitch in the system and she could make us the food still if we wanted it. There was probably about 15 minutes left on the cruise and me and my fiancé were about to lose it out of frustration at this point. I said no we don’t want the food now, just give me my money back. She said okay I’ll go take care of that right now. Never saw her or the waitress the rest of the cruise and never received a refund for the food I paid in full for with a tip. Almost $40 straight into the toilet. If the money is returned to the card I purchased with I will update review but I am not confident that I’ll see that money back in my account with how it was handled. I’m not one to make a big deal out of stuff like this but this experience had my blood absolutely boiling. The sunset was nice but hard to enjoy anything after something like this happens and you have to literally argue with the staff after you spend $40 on something you never even received. Wouldn’t recommend. Horrible way to end our vacation. Also if you’re under 45 you’re not gunna be a fan of the music choices either. That’s a personal jab but I think I deserve to throw one after...

Shame on the business owner who violated state and Federal law firm refusing a blind man and his trained seeing eye dog to board. His excuses where, other dogs have relieved themselves, those allergic to pet hair etc. No real service animal relieves in a public place. No one can use ANY excuse to prohibit someone with a disability and their service animal, to enter their premises. He was made to wait 45 minutes, suffering of humiliation, literally in tears and embarrassment while other passengers were allowed to board around him on an unsafe narrow gang plank with no railings. During this time family and friends showed him the Federal and State laws, still would not allow him to board. In the end he decided not to patronize his business and requested a refund. And it was then he agreed to let him on the boat, but NOT allowed on top deck with his family who were waiting for him. Needless to say the enjoyment of having to join his friends & family was ruined. Stunned and upset he and his other guests standing on line walked away. A refund was given which does not excuse the ignorance of a business owner about the rights of those with disabilities.Furthermore, and for the record the website indicates no one Under 21 nothing regarding animals or service dogs. Still irrelevant, someones rights were violated & discriminated..had the owner kindly address the law and apologize, this could've been avoided. Sir you clearly voiced repeatedly no dogs no dogs , pet hair and allergies regardless your response there were witnesses to that. You agreed to allow them on board after asking for refund as stated yes , but only on bottom deck so no hair would fly, no mention of safety issues on the stairs, still not an excuse. Again your words no dogs no dogs, pet...
