I visited this salon for the first time about 5 months ago. The experience was so bad i'm still bothered by it. I called and made an appointment and even got text reminders and confirmations, but when i went there she acted like i hadn't set up the appointment properly. I showed the woman my confirmation and she still seemed mad. i said I had called to schedule it and she said "Well you should have done it online". Honestly, accidents happen, i would have been fine if she said they didn't write down my appointment and didn't have time that day. I just wanted a trim. this woman proceeds to insult me the whole time, telling me that i should have had a consultation (?? for a trim??) and that my hair was way too dry and that my color was poorly done. She was so rude to me that the last 10 minutes i was just trying my best not to cry. Another hair stylist came over and tried to say some nice things because I think she could tell this lady was being a jerk. Any nice thing the lady said, my hair stylist would roll her eyes and correct her with another insult. I have no idea why she was so mean, my best guess is that she was mad at me because SHE forgot she had an appointment scheduled. If you haven't been here before and you have dry hair, maybe stay away. they'll make you feel like garbage. The cut was fine at best, spend your money elsewhere.
Edit: i should note that it was the OWNER herself who was so awful which is why I couldn't call to complain. Also i don't use my real name online so her comment below doesn't apply. I absolutely went here and had a...
Read moreI had a wonderful experience with the owner and staff of Green Envy! I finished chemo treatments 2 and a half weeks ago and I am blessed to have kept my hair other than a bit of thinning on top. I used the Paxman cold cap system to do so. I had to be very careful, couldn't wash my hair everyday, or color my roots, brush too hard and I had to use gentle shampoo as I went through this process. I needed to research a safe alternative to the way I normally colored my hair now that I was finished with my treatment and the cold cap.. My research led me to Green Envy. I happened to walk in last week to ask some questions and met Brittany and Sharon. They not only answered my questions but Sharon took me right in to do a test area of color for me and we talked. I went back for my actual appointment today as I did not have any reaction in the test area. I have to say I was a bit emotional as Sharon turned me around in the chair to see my new color cut and blow dry, I hadn't felt this good about myself in months. Sharon asked her make up artist to touch up my make up, Brittany polished my toes and there happened to be a special on massages and Cheryl gave me the best one I have ever had. It happened to be a promotional party day and I had organic tea, some homemade banana bread and a little snack. It was just the best day for me and ladies. Thank you for making me feel so comfortable and...
Read moreI was traveling in Nashua, NH for work and my meeting ended early. As I wasn't able to get an earlier flight out for another 24 hours, I thought perhaps it was a great time to try to get a salon appointment. It had been 9-12 months since my last hair cut due to the general business of life and I was beyond ready for a change. On a chance after researching the reviews of salons near my hotel, I called Green Envy Salon & Spa. They got me an appointment within 20 mins of calling with none other than the owner, Sharon. It was a great appointment. She was extremely friendly and listened to my hair issues and totally delivered not only a great, attractive hair style that totally benefitted my style, personality, and my activity level but spent time actually talking with me to understand my lifestyle and concerns. Thank you, Sharon and Green Envy Salon & Spa! It was a whim that proved...
