Read moreMy Brazilian wife has been shopping here on and off for a couple of years. She has noticed a continued trend of lower quality meats, and higher prices.
Yesterday I was shopping with my wife, she bought a couple pounds of liver, their âbaked fresh dailyâ bread, among other items. She decided to cook the liver a few minutes after arriving home. She prepared with garlic, seasoning and onions, as usual. We both ate a few bites, and it was disgusting! It literally had no taste, except for the seasoning. But they also carry a decent selection of fresh vegetables. And their meat counter looks like the answer to my summer barbecue dreams: a range of fresh sausages and marinated meats ready for the grill.
As an added plus they have a few of the basic household supplies we all need, like soaps, cleaners, etc. This might be my new go-to...
