My dog, Uno, and I come out to exercise every single day for hours! We’ve been doing this for years. I’ve met thousands of dogs here and had thousands of experiences with each one- no joke!
Some of my favorite dogs that come out: Roxie, Otis, Ash, Champ, Leía, Captain, Newo, Juniper, Bailey, Knox, Rocco, Disco, Blackjack, ‘Mit, Thunder, Archie, Eddie…just to name a few! I’ll keep adding new names over time.
I can genuinely say that each experience I’ve had playing “keep away” with each dog and a tennis ball has been very meaningful to me. I’ve enjoyed getting to know each person and their dog. I purposefully go out of my way to hear others’ stories and I’ve really enjoyed being known and remembered by all the dogs and their owners!

Read moreGreat dog park with friendly dogs and people! I'm only taking off one star (and writing this review) because two times ago when I came here, in the chaos of getting my excited dog out of the car, I forgot to lock my car. My credit cards and ID were stolen out of the car and immediately tried at the Walmart down the street for $$$$. The next time we went, a man was reaching over the fence from the outside into the park trying to touch my dog. He did not have a dog of his own and kept asking me if my dog was friendly. I didn't think much of it until someone pointed out that his car was still running in the middle of the street in the parking lot, and he kept looking back at it. He ended up moving it and parking it right next to the fence, but he got out and left his car running. He proceeded to enter the park and look at dogs, all while his car was still sitting there running, windows open. It just seemed very odd. I'm not sure what he was trying to do, but his reaching over the fence for my small dog while his car was running did not put me at ease. Because this park is so busy on the weekends, stay very vigilant if you have a dog that likes to explore/tends to leave your side. Because the park is right next to the parking lot, I now see how easy it would be for someone to take a dog if that was their goal. Great dog park, but it may not...
Read moreWe don't have dog parks where I live so everytime we go to Nashville we always stop by so my Service Dog can meet and play with other dogs. At home all I have is a small back yard for him to run in, but he has no one to play with. He only has a playmate when I go to my sisters, which isn't very often. I wish people would pick up after their dogs a little better at this park (they have plenty of bags & garbage cans in several places around the park), but that aside all in all it's still a great park to take my dog to. We've met alot of great people and dogs here. There is one thing that could be a big improvement, SHADE for the humans. There are no real areas of shade we can get under on...
