To have an old leasing agent leave a review as if he lived here (HOW EMBARRASSING) truly the worst apartment on earth. Pay 2200 a month to get my broken broken into (without any help or remedies from the apartment), wifi that never consistently works, never receiving most of my packages, a parking garage that is immensely dangerous that nobody feels safe driving in, the most inconvenient mechanism to get in and out of the building, electronic locks that NEVER work, first floor flooding when it rains (including the gym and community room bathrooms), ZERO security system (no cameras covering the premises because the management says it's "too expensive" but gladly advertise 1500 referral bonus's as if that's more important than residents safety-oh and the 2200 rent for a single bedroom apartment apparently isn't enough), community events when the majority of residents are at work, and now we can barely get maintenance requests fulfilled (I love paying 2200 a month to hand wash dishes at a "luxury apartment "). There is a reason this apartment is desperately begging people to move in. Residents and new residents get a 1500 dollar referral bonus ( started at 500 dollars just a few months ago), no amount of money would make me EVER refer anyone to live here. People cannot move out fast enough, maybe if they focused on actually solving the issues instead of being greedy they wouldn't need to beg people to move in!!! At least all residents can bond over one thing, what an absolute joke this place is. Oh also they will threaten to tow your car multiple times a month for breaking the rules but the leasing manager is allowed to violate the parking rules by illegally parking her car (rules for thee not for me right?)
In response to your cliche response: I have documented screenshots of reporting these issues to management, nice lie though pretending you never heard anything (I’m most definitely not the only one to express these issues either which I have proof of that as well)!! Why would I waste anymore time informing you of the same issues when you have not done anything to fix anything? I will attach all photos of issues AND my communication with you upon my move out. Thank you for only addressing half the issues I expressed. As for the mirrors, they are only on random corners not all places they are needed but you are aware of this. As for the maintenance we had to hire someone to fix our dishwasher as we heard NOTHING from our “complimentary maintenance” until after we said we would send you an invoice. As for the cameras, you specifically said it was too expensive to cover the premises with them, it takes one glance to realize that we in fact barely have any cameras (the staff working area in the lobby side has them though). Now please address the rest of my concerns for everyone to see, typical of broadstone to only address half the concerns and ignore the important ones. Oh and maybe you should have started with a professional response instead of angrily calling me (professional right?).and please address the blatant misrepresentation of your old employee leaving a review as if he knew anything about what it’s like living here.please send me the video of my car getting broken into then since you...
Read moreUpdate to my review below from a week ago—After leaving this Google review, two hours later the staff called me and assured me they’d be sending me an expedited check that would arrive in 3-5 business days. Love how they’ll respond to a google review but not a phone call.
A few days later, I got an email from a third party company stating that it would be 3 business days till I got a link to receive my deposit back electronically. After not having received the email with the link for a full week, I called this third party company and they reported that it could be up to 3 weeks till this process was complete. When I attempted to call the front desk, crickets again.
Just send me my freaking deposit, y’all. This doesn’t have to be this hard. I’ve never had such an unpleasant experience renting.
Also, just a tip—it looks super cheesy to have your own staff leave reviews to cushion your review ratings. My review applies to the coworking space, Second Story, managed by Broadstone Berry Hill: I’m still waiting to receive my initial deposit after 46 days of vacating, calling the front desk multiple times, emailing staff, and calling Greystar headquarters. The staff are friendly and mean well but I get the impression that they have to smile and do nothing due to their corporate management.
As to the overall basic amenities taken care of in the coworking space, cleanliness of the shared space, bugs and cobwebs in the hallways, trash cans frequently overflowing and blocking the entrance to the parking garage for my clients, and providing printing (which was a part of the initial contract I signed), these issues were severely lacking in being prioritized and none of these basic tasks were...
Read moreStaff is super helpful and friendly. Up to times for gym, swimming pool, grilling area, dog spa and the list just goes on. I would give it 5 stars but can't because getting delivery's to your door is almost impossible. This is a gated community and deliveries, like pizza or walmart or even Amazon fresh can't/won't use the call box to let you know of a delivery and either they set your items in mail room or something, and being a disabled older person this sucks. I know it's not the apartments fault for this but it sure does make them look bad for the bad delivery...
