Update: unfortunately I had to re-rate my initial visit and drop it down to one star (it would be half a star, if that was a choice). I went back, this time I dealt with a young lady who was a little condescending and impatient. To begin with, we already feel down in the dumps about prospecting and possibly having to part with our items. We don’t need to deal with someone commenting in a belittling way. We already know y’all have probably seen it all, bigger and better than what we are bringing in—so to you it’s just jewelry. Show a little sensitivity, class and empathy—no need to be a snob or act like you have better things to do than deal with customers or answer their questions.
Previous review: To sell or buy gold, between this place and any of the predatory Express Pawn locations (Highland Ave, National City, or National Ave or Balboa) come here. They offered me more than the EP…even though, I found yet another place that offered more than Roberto’s for my other items—and ended up going here instead—if you’re in a quick fix, this place is a little better...

They have a wide variety of items such as Electronic devices, wide diversity of tools of all kinds, music instruments, designer items such as bags and wallets, Watches and their Gold, its soo selective and they have soo much to choose from. Me and my family always come here and we have peace of mind and trust for Don Roberto and his team, that we don't even have to go anywhere else for a second opinion, we know we get and pay a fair price at the end of the day. They are very good with people and fixing an item for the right price.

Read moreThe girl that was working today Sep 14th has no way of talking to customers I had asked her couple of questions about a chain I’ve lost and ask her maybe by any chance someone had turned it in or they had found it her response “we can’t keep looking after everything that customers drop “ I wish she would have said something like I can ask my fellow coworkers if anyone turned something in ! Or any other response . Everything I talked to her she would give me a negative response . I’m looking at chains so I can get another one for my son and he’s touching the toys and she says make sure he doesn’t break anything because you’ll have to pay for it ! I decided to leave and she says have a good day 😂 after you act that way yeah I’ll have a good day ! Social media is so big now and I’ll definitely make sure people...
