Church Street Creamery — Attraction in Naugatuck

If you're anywhere near Naugatuck and have a sweet tooth to satisfy, do yourself a favor and head straight to The Creamery. I recently indulged in their warm brownie sundae, and I can honestly say—this was dessert perfection.

Picture this: a rich, fudgy brownie fresh out of the oven, still warm and gooey in the center, nestled beneath two generous scoops of ice cream. I went with their creamy coconut and the show-stopping Caramel Cheesecake Cookie Monster flavors—and wow. The coconut was tropical and smooth, not overly sweet, with just the right hint of real coconut. But the Caramel Cheesecake Cookie Monster? Next-level. Swirls of caramel, pockets of cheesecake, and chunks of cookies in every bite—it’s indulgence layered on indulgence.

The warmth of the brownie against the cold, velvety ice cream created that perfect hot-and-cold contrast, and it all melted together into a symphony of flavors. Every spoonful was heavenly. It’s the kind of dessert that makes you slow down and savor every bite.

All toppings but where's the ice cream? I don't see 3 scoops in there, solid or melted. Totally melted, puddled mess but that's Door Dash's fault. I tried to refreeze it but was just a frozen glop. There was a pit in the maraschino cherry? That's a first in my entire life. Hoping I didn't crack my tooth. Not worth the original price then all the fees and extra fee I paid to have it delivered directly to me? This was my reward to myself for losing 100 lbs. Guess that's the universe's way of telling me to go shopping instead. Thankfully Door Dash refunded the entire mess. I would not recommend ordering here and not sure what all the rave reviews are for. I was fine paying extra for good quality. I should have just ordered...

Church Street Creamery just opened in our town of Naugatuck and we’re so happy to have them here! The shop was bustling despite the construction on Church Street! They use Hershey’s ice cream and had a ton of flavors to choose from. While Hershey’s isn’t my all-time favorite ice cream, I have to commend Church Street Creamery on their friendly service, generous scoops, and inviting atmosphere. If I had one critique, I would say they could’ve gone a little heavier on the toppings, but they’re only a week old, so maybe that will change with time.
