Chiangmai Thai Restaurant — Restaurant in Naugatuck

My husband and I walked into this restaurant and were instantly impressed. The staff immediately seated us at a beautifully decorated table, which had carefully folded napkin decorations on top of the plate. The owner personally tended to us, and was warm and hospitable. We ordered our drinks and appetizers, which came out only a few minutes afterwards. I ordered a Thai iced coffee and water, and my husband ordered a coke. The straws had beautifully crafted roses atop each one, another indication of the care and attentiveness to detail that this restaurant strives for. For meals, we ordered the Pho Ga and Beef & Garlic, and for dessert, the coconut sticky rice with sweet mango, and fried banana pockets. Between dinner and while waiting for dessert, we also were gifted a small scoop of vanilla ice cream with whipped cream and sprinkles on top, courtesy of the restaurant. UPDATE: 2nd time I ordered their tom yum salad again & it was amazing and they definitely gave me more than last time.. I also tried their fried calamari and chicken curry puffs with the cucumber sauce. Everything was amazing & fresh as usual. Thank you!!

UPDATE: there was barely any chicken in my pad thai. Literally like 1 piece of chicken breast sliced very thin into about 4 pieces. Just an FYI

My rate for this restaurant is for total experience. Everything that I have ordered has been delicious and trust me I know what authentic Thai food tastes like and this one is it.

Also the lady who I spoke to on the phone was very nice.. the food is fresh, service & delivery is quick & efficient. Definitely will continue to support them when I can. :)

We went there Saturday night for the first time. I am sorry we waited so long. It was full of people and had a great vibe. It is BYOB so some tables had coolers with them. Next time so will I. For appetizers we ordered Thia spring rolls and calamari. The spring rolls were excellent and the calamari deserves special attention. It was outstanding. It was some of the crispiest and best I have had in a long time. The main dishes were Chicken and Cashews and Pork fried rice. Both were very good. The waitstaff was friendly and smiling!
