Love Naugatuck! Before i moved here and bought a home, i googled it and reviews said tweekers walked around and it was a bad place to live. It must've been the recently jailed tweekers and sour grape individuals with cars on blocks on their side yards reviewing it. Im was born and raised in los angeles and connecticut doesn't know bad. Naugatuck is safe, convenient, clean and welcoming. There is always wholesome , small town good times going on. It needs more food chain options and larger businesses to invite outsiders to visit. The town people who allow new buildings ,need updating. They have old mindsets, and need renovating. Mayor Pete is a nice , lively addition. Naugatuck just needs to vote in a new happier healthier town board crew. They all seem unhappy and want everyone else to live and be unhappy too. Mass transportation is easily accessible and the businesses and proprietors that are here are solid...
Read moreWe enjoy the Naugatuck Green, what it represents, the concerts, the festivals etc. Spending time there reminds me of a simpler time before cell phones or maybe watching an old 50’s tv show etc. Anyhow the green is nice, plenty of benches, ample lighting, the fountain and the wonderful diverse town folk. The gazebo while tired has some charm to it and if it could talk would probably have many good stories to tell. There are no bathrooms except during an official event and theres plenty of parking all around. While at the green it’s also nice to stroll down Church street to visit the shops or simply look in the windows. We often go during evenings regardless the time of the year, we bring our GSD dog Sullivan, he’s become a bit of a celebrity to...

There is also a small gazebo where bands play during the summer for the public as well as where the farmer's market is held. It is well visited by...
