Lawson Creek Park — Attraction in New Bern

Last year went to see Jimmy Allen the concert was AMAZING, the band that got on stage before him, very professional and amazing. The first two local not as much talent, but put forth a good effort. Great food trucks ticket 25.00, for a major country singer, you cant beat price. Iwas sorry the year i missed Dan&Sha. Won't be going this year. Free Parking was very far away about 1/4 away walking crossing a busy highway so be careful the police was directing traffic. Bathroom are outside the gate not to far from outside gate that was were VIP seat. Has a ATM machine out in the open.Bring your outdoor chairs...

Came to the Sugar Ray concert as part of Mumfest. The field they used for the concert was a soccer field. The grounds were well maintained and organized. Staff crew were chatty and helpful with directing the amount of people, security aspects, and ticketing. The city of New Bern did a fantastic job.

New Bern PD was present and active.

Park says it’s open until 10 pm but the park ranger today decided to come out over 45 minutes early to kick us out from fishing… when I walked back up towards our truck after he stopped a few minutes to yell at us that he was closing the gates, I could smell marijuana as well… we were the only ones besides the ranger down that far and it wasn’t windy.
