Prior to my wife and I moving from SC, we learned old hometown NC friends were recent new residents of New Bern, NC as well! Finally unpacked and not traveling, we met our friends at Brewery99 last week. Spent about 90 minutes there and enjoyed not being overwhelmed with too many choices...just enough across a variety of tastes. Really enjoyed meeting the all-knowing and all-doing, Pete Frey. Super friendly and helped guide us to two great choices. We look forward to another hometown outing and visiting with Pete when he's there..."9 to 9, 9...

Enjoyed the pepperoni rolls and 3 fantastic beers here. Great location, super dog and family friendly, and we loved the open concept and the atmosphere. Pete is amazing—very friendly and welcoming. This is one of the breweries we have visited where the beers are true to the advertised style. The cask IPA was one of the best beers we’ve tasted, and it was great to see a cask beer and hand pump in the US. Pretty decent wine selection also for the non-beer drinkers!
