this place was filled with so much rich history and neat furniture to look at. I feel like the name is a little misleading because the tour guides cater to what you are most interested in: either the furniture or history behind the 1st settlers of New Braunfels from Germany. It's an awesome place to go to if you are bored in town one weekend, and it's a reasonable price for a tour! Paid $16 for my boyfriend and I and Leslie Dey (tour guide) is such a wonderful lady. Read moreThe Museum of Homemade Furniture is a step back in time to the mid 19th Century Texas. The museum fills every room with handmade craftsmanship. Beds, cabinets, desks, etc. Are on display to see up close (just don’t touch). Unfortunately pictures are not allowed inside the museum (not sure why). But trust me it’s worth the $8.
