I was so pleased to hear that the local Bosses pizza had reopened after closing during the pandemic. I went in at noon for the lunch buffet with high expectations and left feeling a little confused and not at all happy with my dining experience. When we arrived, there was a grand total of two very strange pizzas (french fry pizza with mayonnaise on it? Pineapples and jalapenos?) on the buffet that had clearly been sitting under the heater for too long, making them unpleasant to look at and very tough to eat. The spatulas on the bar were hot and mildly burned my wife's hand when she picked one up. I went to the front counter to enquire about them putting some fresh pies and was told that "there were several in the oven." So, I sat down and waited another 30 minutes for them to bring out a single pizza that was covered in jalapenos that I could not eat (I have a severe capsaicin allergy.)
When I enquired again whether there were more pizzas on the way, the two young girls at the counter just kind of shrugged and didn't seem to care at all that their buffet was in such an abysmal state. I waited around another 10 or so minutes before getting frustrated and leaving, still hungry, and less the $30 that I had just spent on the meal for me and my wife. I will note that the whole time I was there, that they were pushing out fresh pies at a prodigious rate for to go orders so I know that they weren't having kitchen problems, they just didn't care enough to support their product (the buffet) with an adequate amount of edible food even after I brought my issues to them twice.
If I had known that the buffet was going to be so poorly stocked and monitored by the staff, I could have saved myself some time, money, and aggravation by just ordering a pizza off the menu. I have been a customer of Bosses for years but doubt that I will be returning to this establishment in the future, they no longer seem to care about their product or ensuring that their customers leave happy. This is not the same pizza joint that I remember. I do not usually leave negative reviews for locally owned places, but this was so bad that I feel that I would be doing the community a disservice by not saying something. The most galling thing is that they asked for a tip up front on the bill, and I was foolish enough to tip 20% before such an abysmal service....
Read moreMy husband, brother, and I stopped in for dinner around 5 pm. I have never been one to complain or write a review but this was not a good experience. My husband ordered a cheese burger and when his meal was brought out the cashier said here is your miss kitty burger. He lifted the top bun confused and saw his "cheese burger" was missing cheese. He went up to the front to get cheese on his burger and saw in fact there is a miss kitty burger on the menu but the burger giving to him didn't even have the ingredients that burger called for. When he asked for cheese for his burger the girl was very rude about it as if he was bothering her. She repeated it to the back of house in a mocking way that he wanted cheese for his cheese burger. My husband and brother both got their meals and Ate them completely while i waited for my 12" pizza and our potato skins. We didn't even get to enjoy our meals together bc my pizza was brought out 30 mins after their meals. The Guest that had come in after us received their pizza before ours and we were really confused by that. My husband walked to the front to to see what was going on and tired to ask why they had received their pizza before ours and again he just got rudeness with an attitude response of "sir your pizza is coming" I can understand that pizza may take longer to cook but maybe some better time management in the back? but my grandson ordered boneless bbq wing's, and they brought him something else when my husband took them back up to let them know they weren't bbq, Jordan handled it great but the cook which is the GM yelled very loudly that what did we want her to do because it would take several minutes to make new one's. She was very rude loud and very unprofessional especially since she's an owner!! I also ordered a cheeseburger no mustard everything else was fine. Well I received a burger with everything even mustard and "ketchup" which is not even listed on the menu. The sad thing, she cooked our food got our order wrong and expected us just to take whatever she gave us. As a regular customer knowing that an Owner cares this much for their customers and employees after yelling at all of us, we kind of threw our hands up and said I think we're done here.
