Walnut Hill Park Rose Garden — Attraction in New Britain

This park is an amazing and peaceful place to go enjoy the day, marvel at the monument for veterans of WW1, or simply just to walk around the property. The grounds are very well maintained with garbage bins nearby and benches all throughout the park to sit and appreciate the scenery. There must be over a hundred rose bushes in a circle at the top of the hill just before the massive monument that is dedicated to the 123 fallen soldiers. There is name plaques for each soldier along with granite benches that have been inscribed with the names of past aficionados...

This is a great place for families and everyone of all ages to hang out, go on walks, have picnics. There are fun events like free yoga in the park up here as well. The gardens are very well taken care of, which I beleive is voluntarily done. Always so...
