YoYo Thai Ice Cream Roll — Restaurant in New Britain

UPDATE:03/1/2020!!! TIME TO ENJOY SOME YOYO! My boyfriend and I went there today because we just found out in opened on Febuary 20th,2020! I got my favorite strawberry milk tea and my boyfriend got his passion fruit smoothie! Everything was delicious as always! We both are extremely happy that it is open! We will be frequent customers throughout the season! Also, the workers there tonight were amazing and super nice as always! Love this place of business!!! (My first review from a year ago below).

Tried yoyo for the first time and I had the strawberry bobo tea.... it was amazing!!!!! Not only that but the staff was awesome! Next on my list is the nutella shake! I can't wait till the summer time! Please When it get nicer it would be amazing to have seating outside as well! I hope this shop stays for a very VERY long time! You guys have earned a loyal customer! Me and my husband will be coming around...

I felt bad for the employee it seemed like it took alot of time and effort watching him create the ice cream. Each one takes a couple mins to make. And he was the only staff there. It took a little while for the group in front of us to get there's. As it was our turn. My daughter and her friend ordered there's. I told the guy I would pick mine after theirs were done bc I wasn't sure what I wanted. He said ok. The topics seemed to be alot of breakfast cereal's. Once he gave the kids their ice cream they sat down. I was still standing to let him Know my order. He turned to the couple that just came in and asked their order. I was confused. I came here with my cousin for bubble tea. I made him order first to see what it looked like so I hadn’t placed my order yet. I walked over to watch the guy making someone else’s ice cream. When that customer walked away, he dropped one of the spatulas on the floor and said “uh oh.” I literally watched him pick up the spatula, run it under water for 3 seconds, and put it right back near the ice cream stuff to make another ice cream. I’m just mortified. If they do that in front of customers, imagine what they do when customers aren’t around. Also, it didn’t seem like the guy saw anything wrong with it. I told the woman employee about this and she said “he did? oh okay” and left the spatulas there. I just left. Never...
