Read more1st time visiting this park of Brooklyn so I decided to see the park nearby and this pier. 1st pier over looks the lower NY bay on the hudson river. There's plenty of sitting available and you csn bring your 🐕 as long as they are leashed . Only parking available is street parking however it is not hard to find. Sadly only restrooms you'll find are located in owl park which is few blocks away. You csn also get here by NYC ferry which has a stop on the pier. You csn go bike riding or go for a walk along the path next to the belt parkway. You see the lower Manhattan skyline to the north straight ahead staten island and verrazano bridge to the south. Read moreI always love coming here. I first started coming here 45 years ago when I met my late husband. Then as we started having children we would bring them here (3 children). I lost my husband on January 2024 and I wanted to come here and reminisce on those beautiful days. This is a great fishing 🎣 place amd it allows bikes and dogs. There's tables where you can and or eat. The view is AMAZING! I especially love watching the sunset. These pictures show the sun going down.
