I walk along Shore Road at the park. It is very handicap accessible. Today there were a lot of leaves on the on the ground but generally this path is well kept unless it snows outside. Highly recommend. As far as restrooms they are far apart one is somewhere near Oliver Street the other one is on 79th Street. Park surfaces need to be smoothed out it seems that very little has been done to the path since the 1930s when the park was built. Nobody else seems to mind. With a handicap I do mind and never go into that area alone. Not a matter of crime but unsafe for...
Read moreWent to see Bay Ridge's own Irish band the Canny Brothers. The concert was postponed by rain and went on August 25. As usual a large contingent of followers attended. Hudson Valley, Rockaway, Breezy Point, Staten Island as well as Bay Ridge residents were well represented. The FDNY had one of its fire boats off the park spraying water high into the air. The Bay Ridge pipe and drums were also on hand to open the concert. They have t shirts for sale all to help fund the Bay Ridge St. Patrick Day parade. NIA has again sponsored summer series of concerts every Tuesday. Great bands. Beautiful sunsets over...

Very close to convenience stores and take out...
