I spent $280 ( not including tips and the hair products that I need to use after the damage was done ) to have my hair ruined at this place. The lady was not honest from the beginning. The picture I showed her clearly showed a style achievable only with a curling iron, which would lasts for one day only. However, she refused to tell me the truth about this. Unfortunately, I ignored my previous stylist's advice; he had shown me real pictures and warned me about the limitations. After it was done, she claimed that because I had a collagen treatment three years ago, my hair couldn't achieve the desired result. Why didn't they ask me about this before starting? No honestly.
They charged me $45 to cut my hair after they damaged and burned it. I mentioned that I was not coming for a haircut cuz I want the same length and nothing short but there was no other option cuz it was damaged really bad. My hair was long, I end up losing half of it. When I got home, I had to cut it myself because it was burned and uneven, with some parts short and others long. They even overcharged me by $2; they asked for a $52 Zelle deposit but only credited $50. It's not about the $2, no one will die for $2. Its the way they trick people which is not acceptable. I had a very hard time accepting that half of my hair was gone, destroyed, damaged and I started losing hair. As per a friend who has experienced in hair, it would take me 3-4 years to grow back my healthy hair. I had to get a collagen treatment after this (another $200+) and also I have spent around $200 for repairing products which are not cheap, because I couldnât accept that my hair got into that condition. Total loss around $800.
Stay away from this place if you donât want your hair damaged and destroyed.
As you can see from the picture with yellow shirt, thatâs how I end up having my hair in this place. The other 2 picture it was 2 days ago using my curling iron and it was only curl for the same day and it was not damaged. My hair is naturally straight as you can see on the other pic and it was not damage. The last 2 pics are pics after 2 weeks...
Read moreThe hair washing process was very nice, although the shoulder massage was a little painful, it didnât bother me too much & Iâm overly sensitive around my shoulders. It was a fine experience until the actual haircut. First, I should mention that I had spent the past year growing out my hair from a short french bob. I decided I wanted to get a haircut to give some shape to my hair which was finally at a medium length (around 15â), and gathered some inspiration pictures. The photos I showed, linked below, were clearly layered cuts, with layers all around the head. Unfortunately, the haircut I received is absolutely horrible. The hairdresser cut off a good 5â of my hair, throwing away all the time and work Iâd put into growing out my hair. I may have been able to get over that, had the haircut itself not been horrendously executed. Iâm convinced that my hairstylist had never in his life cut layers into hair before. Not only are there absolutely NO layers at the back of my head (the primary reason for my haircut), but the only âlayersâ in my hair are the two front pieces, which would be better described as chunks. I am not a stickler for every strand of hair needing to be even, but the front face framing strands are the only two pieces that need to look at least somewhat symmetrical, and they are completely uneven. The two front strands of my hair are at least an inch apart in length. I cannot even wear my go-to hairstyle for when I dislike the length of my hair, because it requires the two front strands to be pulled out at the front, and I look ridiculous with them completely uneven. This has genuinely ruined my confidence, I started sobbing as soon as I got into the train, and couldnât stop for at least three hours after getting home. I feel like crying every time I look in the mirror, and there is nothing I can do besides wait for my hair to grow back. I will never ever return to this salon, and if you have an ounce of texture, curl, wave, or coil to your hair, I urge you...
Read moreI was trying very hard to not write any feed back, but I am very disappointed in this service. I had gone in October of 2023 to get my hair colored with lowlights. Although Helen, is very nice, the level of professionalism was not there. Not sure what the assistant's name is, but he had bleach splashed on my face and eyes, and he was smiling about it, and I asked several times if I can have a napkin, or something to wipe it off. But he didn't attempt to clean it off. Not only did Helen and her assistant work on different sides, but one side had very thick prominent highlights, and the other was very scattered. From my experience of getting my hair colored, this is a delicate process and having two people working on different sides of the head, it didn't work. I gave them the benefit of the doubt, but it was terrible. In the end, Helen asked if I would like a hair cut (should of known not to, given the previous interaction), but I said sure, not only did she overcharge me for the coloring service she quoted me for but added another 200 dollars to it. The hair cut was terrible, I had very long hair too the mid shaft of my torso, she chopped the top of my head very layered and short (with straight, thick, and coarse hair) this is definitely a not. I am still dealing with the terrible cut, as it was terribly layered.
I only gave one star for...
