Updated with response: yes, my parrot did say what sounded like a racial slur, but not at people. To the customer it may have been directed at, Iām not sure what youāre talking about. You were rude before that occurred. Plus Iāve seen lots of loud and ostentatious parrots in this shop. There are always tons of parrots there all the time, and some of them fly around and leave cracker crumbs EVERY WHERE! In addition, I did return a few weeks later and the cashier had a parrot on their shoulder. Iāve never received service like that before, even in New York. And quite frankly, Iām impressed. I am also a regular customer of this shop for over a year, always tipping the employees, and I WILL be tipping the parrot too from now on. Ā Ā Ā Read moreI live in the area and have been coming here for a year. I tried to hold off on posting a bad experience but I consistently have been having poor interactions with the staff that I now go out of my way to a cafe farther away from me for coffee.
There is a woman who chats and carries conversations with patrons while ignoring a line of people waiting to order. During rush hour, this confuses me, as people are looking to grab coffee and go to work. There is one male who gives off bad attitude for no reason. Iāve seen him chat up his friend with a smile, give her a discounted drink, and then give me the cold shoulder as I stepped up to order. Most other one offs that I encounter have also just been un-friendly.
