This is a beautiful piece of federally reserved land made into a public park; it has many dirt, wooden plank and concrete paths. There are wetlands and dry land, two large ponds- one of which the park is named after, and yes there is a Blue Heron that lives there among ducks, geese, frogs, small birds, crows, rabbits, skunks, deer, etc. Be careful walking through from dusk til dawn because of mosquitoes and ticks.
