I cannot say better things about this restaurant. My grandmother passed 2 weeks ago and it was a really hard time for us. On top of grieving, we were planning a memorial service and trying to find a place for a bereavement luncheon afterwards. Every place we called had “party packages” or catering menus that were upwards of $50 a person. For a time so difficult for our family and already a financial constraint, we were definitely panicking as $50 a person was just not something we could afford. La Fontana Sorellena was one of the only restaurants that offered a true luncheon package with 3 options ranging from $28-$30 per person, soda and wine included. They also open early for special luncheons like that and we had the whole restaurant to ourselves up until they opened at 4pm which we were wrapping up at the point. The food and service was amazing and the young man who helped us was so so kind. We are truly so grateful that they made such a heartbreaking time much easier for us to navigate. Thank you so much to the whole staff my family truly...
Read moreShocked that this was some of the worst food my family and I have ever experienced. It should say something when everyone left their plates barely touched. Meatballs were inedible due to salt. Never had scarpariello like this in a fine dining. 2 dry thin sliced chicken cutlets. Mealy potatoes and dry overcooked sausage in a thick brown gravy. Was asked if wanted pasta or vegetables and potatoes. They slopped the entire dish OVER the pasta instead of on the side. 2 orders of veal Fontana left uneaten veal was too tough to cut and inedible salty. Slopped over pasta. The one person who got veg and potatoes was iced cold. The only redeeming dish was the fried zucchini and also pasta was Al dente. Oh and the shrimp on my dish were so hard and tough could barely chew. Sad. The...
Read moreWent there last night with friends. Had the pre-fix menu. Ordered the Chicken Fontana. Food was delicious but I felt I was being rushed even though the place was empty. The waiter kept coming every few minutes to make sure everything was good. And the bus boy was ready to take my half-eaten plate away when I wasn't finished eating. Just because I put my fork down and chew the food, the bus boy assumed I was done. I told him NO! I'm not done. I wasn't crazy for the mashed potato since it didn't taste like real potato. The vegetables were good. I would like to return.
I am rating 3 stars because of the staff, not the food. The chicken is 5...
