Day & night Event Hall — Attraction in New York

Beware of the extras! This venue is beautiful and accommodates the large amount of guests but management sucks, they are thieves and the fridges for drinks are disgusting. I booked this venue back in February 2024 for my wedding that took place in November 2024. At first Abdul stated that I needed to make payment 30 days before the event took place, after he changed his mind and told me we had to make it 60 days or else he would change us late fees. I made the completed payment in September 2024 and he texted me again in October 2024 saying that I have not paid and if I did not before the event, he was going to charge a fee. I sent him a copy of the contract that he signed in September when I made the final payment. He did not text me after that. The day before my event, we went to the venue to drop off our drinks, when starting to put them inside the fridge, we noticed the fridges were not cleaned, smelled like mildew and fish. It had probably not been cleaned after their event. Abdul then proceeded to clean them with windex while we were then. Since the smell was still there, we had to run to keyfood across the street to purchase cleaning items to finish cleaning the fridge before putting in the drinks. I also payed for security guards but when my event took place they were never provided. I spoke to Abdul the at the end my event and asked for the refund for the security guards that were not provided and he said he would send it to me. Forward to a few weeks after, I called and texted him but he completely ghosted me, I called him like two months after and he responded but made up bogus charges for “supposed” damaged that he stated may have or may have not been from my event. When we left, there were not damages to the venue. He said that he would not refund me the total price for the security guards and instead only half. It’s been almost 6 months since my event took place and he has completely avoided my calls and texts. Word of advise, make sure everything is written on the contract and do not purchase any of the extra packages they offer. Please keep all of your records and just Becareful because they are not true to their words and make stuff...

First let me say I am an event planner so l have been to many venues to do parties for my clients as well as my own.. This place hands down was a hidden gem! The hall is very modern and well maintained. Parking lots are on site (which is rare). Decor and space is top notch, even down to the bathrooms! Fully equipped kitchen/bar space with rolling coolers, 2 huge stand up refrigerators, under counter fridge, ice maker, and sinks. Abdul has a one stop shop for most of your decorating needs... if you need a table/ chair cover, dessert stands, throne chairs, or many other items he has a storage area on site of various color things to choose from for competitive rates. Abdul makes the whole planning process VERY smooth by just being helpful, and PROFESSIONAL, which you don't really see anymore in most places. It isn't about the money for him, it's about YOU as a client getting the best experience for your event. The hall was very nice. I attended a birthday party here. It is very spacious. Enough room for tables on one side and a dance floor on the other side. There is bench seating along the walls of the dance area for extra spaces to sit. It was a whole commercial like refrigerator for drinks to keep them cold. A whole space set up for the food. A whole separate bar. Enough room for the DJ. And they even had two photo stations. Not to mention a coffee and tea station. It looks small from the outside but it is spacious.
