Nov 13 2022 To the Guyanese male manager who needs training and was on duty at 730pm... You saw me on the line and summoned another cashier to come to the front. Granted, I was the only one on the line. When you and the other cashier were through with your customers, she sat down under the counter and you went to examine the contents of the cart that the cashier you summoned came with. You left your Frontline unattended. Poor management. Left me on the line. I waited with patience and grace while you engaged with the cart, the cashier and the female cashier sitting under the counter. When you were satisfied you returned to the station. I placed my basket on the floor while checking out. You said, the basket goes to the front. As I was leaving you said it again and added that I was going in the same direction. I ignored you and never said a word. You mumbled something else which I did not hear. It's now easy for you to see what I have done but you closed your eyes to your own blunders. You left me waiting while you addressed internal issues with your subordinates and never once did you apologize for wasting my time. Move the basket yourself because Unfortunately, your two wrongs did not make a right. Updating Jan 6 2024 One cashier for 15 customers on the queue, unbelievable. She was pleasant and courteous and and I got the items I went for. Noted tons of empty boxes on the shelves and one shelf where items are $3&$5. I've seen this out of state, I guess...
Read moreI believe this dollar tree is one of the best out there... Some of these comments are false...Yet , some are true as well .. Most of the time I'm there , it's not the cashiers faults that i sèe , when it comes to talking about the long line .. I've seen where customers fumble for their money at the register , or cards don't work ..They have to try another etc...They forget something , and the list goes on... There's a longer wait when these things happen..I don't put all the blames on the long lines , because of the cashiers alone , i see that it's mostly some of the customers faults too , they're not ready when called , money not ready to pay , and the list goes on...Some of you customers have to also take accountability for your hold up in the lines as well ... Yes , sometimes the boxes in the isle can be a dragg , i think that's when their stock comes in.. Limited spaces... I worked for a store similar to this before , so i know... So people , if these human beings have to be patient with you all , while you're unprepared at the register , etcc..etc.. Do have a little patience with the workers also .. It's...
Read moreAlways nasty but the kicker was on my most recent visit, I only planned to make 1 purchase needles to say I spent more than I expected. I paid for my items and slowly walked carefully examining my receipt. As I stood at the door I realized that 3 items were actually $5.00 a piece. I immediately turned my back and returned to the register, as I explained my findings my cashier the other cashier loudly ask my cashier “she didn’t know that they were $5.00.” Sucked her teeth and rolled her eyes in complete disgust. I tried to keep my mouth closed ( as I honestly didn’t see or noticed the sign stating the price) but her complete disrespect prompted me inform her that I was spending my money and not hers and the fact that she needed to comment and visibly express her contempt were not called for. I thought everything in the store cost $1.25. Customer service sucks!!! The supervisor was honestly polite...
