Very informative and interactive for the kids for the activities they do have. They are currently replacing the roof on the building so it has scaffolding around the main house but that's not a big deal unless you wanted pictures that didn't include that kinda stuff.

Visits to the Wyckoff House in 1963 and 2002 instilled in me the preservation instinct to prevent the senseless obliteration of our history. Here on an urban landscape is a precious little acreage that reminds us of our ancient agricultural heritage. My kids and I attended a Juneteenth event here. We brought our compostable produce to add to their bin, which we did. We were greeted and enjoyed something like a hot sorrel cider, cherries, and blueberries a feature of their every 3rd Saturday Family day event. The area is green and lush with vegetation. While tours of the house are not being facilitated at the moment there is a guided tour online at Gesso for those wanting to know more. Two chickens roamed freely and we very sociable to a...
