Tasty Delicious Bakery Outlet — Restaurant in New York

Rude ass people behind the counter smh they don’t know who I know !! I came for a carrot cake and the r same rude ass lady I get we’ve try single time tells me there isn’t any and asks if I want another cake … I’m indecisive bc I only eat carrot cake . So since she offered a different cake I ask her if it’s a vanilla cake and she responds “ I would know I never had it” then proceeds to eye roll and huff and puff! She then tells me I should ask another lady behind her smh I was over her! This isnt the first time she was rude to me and I just brushed it off but today was it for me! I’m tired of frequenting Caribbean ppl establishments just bc I am West Indian too! I didn’t beg for anything I was there to pay with my hard earned money! I’m so disgusted bc this bakery has so much good things and it’s tastes really good but to feel disrespected every single time isn’t fair to me! I hope you all work on...

This is yet another place that proves my point about some of the best eateries being located in small places. There's only standing room in the shop itself, with a small waiting area outside that's enclosed by a screen. It's nestled between the various auto shops and the houses, and is right across the street from the park; after one gets their stuff, it's a nice place to sit and enjoy them. They make all of the patties in house and the selection of breads and pastries is always fresh. They do run through their products because the place is always packed, but they also replace the trays quickly so that the selections I recommend the salmon patty (all the patties, really) the green velvet cake, the rainbow cake and the slushie, the latter of which has real bits of sweet, sweet watermelon in it. The cashier has a rude attitude. The servers are very attentive, but when it comes to the part you pay, the cashier packs the food in the bag, handles the patties that were falling out with hands that she just used to collect cash from the person ahead of me. Said something to her about it, and she just stared at me. So, instead of getting upset, I said to her that is really not a good way to handle a customer. Paid and left. A few days after, I asked my husband to get me cheese cake from there, (which is extremely water melting delicious and is worth the $8)he came home telling me he not going back there because the cashier attitude and behavior is very nasty.
