Pretty good beach for nature walks with parking lot off USS North Carolina road, quite popular with fishermen. Beautiful ocean views and a trail going under the bridge, nice complement to historical Fort Wadsworth visit with its NYC skyline views.

Fort Wadsworth Beach and of Brooklyn nice place to relax did you see the ships passing by all the time, emerald down the road you have a park, dog friendly and not too busy, there are many more things and playgrounds to do in the fort.

Ruhiger Strandabschnitt aber fast einsam fand ich. Muss man mögen ;-). Die Brücke + Geräuschkulisse hinterlassen Eindruck, angespülte Äste stellen ein interessantes Stilleben dar. Man kann entspannt am Strand zum South Beach oder Mid Beach gehen und immer wieder auf asphaltierte oder hölzerne Wege gehen. Auch Muschelsucher werden fündig. Im Februar ist wenig los, kaum Touristen, primär Anwohner würde ich sagen. Am Strand direkt, keine Bars, Cafes etc.

Great place, very calm and quiet. Parking is right there and available AND FREE. The water is dirty so keep that in mind, it's great to dip your feet and sit back and just relax in peace. It has a beautiful view of the bridge, but overall...
