“This is my second review” I purchased a Street Glide CVO (about $50,000) from Harley‑Davidson of Staten Island and had planned to use them for ongoing service and winter storage. A couple months ago I called to have a routine oil change done, and the service department declined to perform the oil change. I left an honest review about that experience because I was disappointed they would not provide this basic service to a paying customer.
Today I called back to arrange winter storage and specifically to have the oil change done and to store my bike during the winter. I spoke with the manager, Mike, who told me flatly that because of the review I had posted they do not want to do business with me. He said the GM would call me, but otherwise they are refusing service. I find this retaliatory and unprofessional — I expected the dealership to try to resolve the service issue, not to penalize a customer for posting truthful feedback.
I am extremely disappointed. I bought an expensive motorcycle from them and planned to pay for storage and maintenance, but I will now take my business to another dealer. He also got my insurance set up and took care of a trade in which took a lot off of me.
