This may be the most disappointed I have been with the Dairy Queen brand, the specific establishment, and the experience as a whole. A drive thru visit that took nearly 40 minutes would seem to defeat the entire concept of fast food. My relatively simple order was missing one of the only 4 items I ordered was missing, and required me to bring the issue up to the staff. My dissatisfaction began almost as soon as I ordered. After a fairly long wait while parked at the microphone, a staff member began taking my order. After I gave her the first item, she stopped responding and I waiting another several minutes. After a significant period of time had elapsed, the same staff member said, "Hello, are you still there," as if I might have gone somewhere after half ordering. The ordering process itself after that was surprisingly seamless. I then spent more than 20 minutes waiting in line to pay and receive the food. There were only two cars in front of us. At long last, we reached the front of the line. After paying for the food, I began to receive my order. Despite having ordered 2 drinks and 2 blizzards, likely necessitating the cardboard drinks carrier usually provided in such situations, the drinks were passed out to me one by one. Once the blizzards began arriving in the same state, I realized that a carrier was not to be provided, and was forced to ask for one. I also did not receive one of the blizzards I ordered, despite having only placed an order for a total of 4 items. This I also had to bring up with the staff. After finally receiving all the items in my order I drove away, only to later discover that no straws had been provided with the drinks I had ordered. This is in addition to the absurdly small portions I was served. While my expectations were not especially high, nearly all parts of my experience at Dairy Queen have failed to reach them. It is a difficult task to make me reconsider future interactions with the Dairy Queen brand but I'm sorry to say my experience with this franchise...
Read moreI love this place and drive across Staten Island to get their blizzard's. My only issue (sorry to say this) but the drive through workers seem incompetent sometimes. They're slow or don't care..i don't know. Almost every time I go and order the same blizzard, they charge me for the additional topping then it's not in there ( that happened multiple times) or I order medium and they charge me for a large. My biggest issue is only 1/3 or 1/2 of the blizzard had the topping and the rest is plain ice cream
Every time i go i Hope this time will be better 9/10 it's a mistake..but i love blizzards.
