Pros: Friendly, professional staff. Ambiance: nicely decorated in a spanish style. You walk into the bar area and theres a room with tables to the right, my 1st though was this place is kind of small, then the host escorted us to the back room which was very large, tables spaced nicely where you didn't feel cramped. Food, entrees came with choice of soup or salad, the salad was fine, my wife ordered lentil soup which she really enjoyed...I had the lobster pialla, filled with fresh clams, shrimp, scallops, mussels, chorizo, chicken and half a lobster. I took at least half of it home, i honestly believe it would be enough for two people, my brother in law had the 3 pound (not a typo) shell steak cooked to medium rare perfection, my wife and sister in law each had surf and turf which they both raved about and looked amazing. I had a couple of red sangrias which were very good, the rest of the table had a few beers (4 or 5 total) and a soda. Price: $189, I couldn't believe it was under $50 per person, keep in mind 3 of us had longer dishes and 1 a 3 lb steak Cons: parking was an issue, but not enough to take a star away. This place was a gem and in the words of MacArthur I...
Read moreIt's a Spanish restaurant. It was suggested as a good place and I decided to have a party there. The food is good but it's nothing special. The lobster and the sangria were good but the shrimp in the paella was not properly cleaned and the calamari was chewy. They took our orders and after that we were seating by a completely empty table for almost an hour. Even though we ordered a lot of appetizers, for some unexplained reason they decided to bring all the food together (appetizers and entrees). After my brother lost his patience and spoke to the waiter they decided to bring out our salads. I've never seen such horrible service. I was celebrating my 50th birthday and by the end I left feeling disrespected. I paid over 1,000$ just to leave unhappy. Personally I will never go back to this place after...
Read moreSadly things have changed. I don't like leaving negative reviews but the new owner needs to know that the changes are not for the better. What was once a staple for me has gone downhill. We have had many parties and events here for over 20 years and it’s just not good. The chorizo is thin like pepperoni with had zero taste. I was honestly shocked. The shrimp ajillo had zero garlic and very little olive oil. The red sangria was sad, no fruit, tasted straight from the bottle with no pizzazz. Prices are higher than they used to be and I don’t mind paying if the food is going to be top quality. The waiters kept pushing us to buy more and made faces when we only had one pitcher of the sad sangria. We came here during the pandemic to support this business but now we...
