Hollis Playground — Attraction in New York

I grew up( well spent most of my life) playing in this playground. Over the last decade it has gone over an overhaul. The park is beautiful now alot better than it was when I was growing up. Prior to the overhaul it basically was two basketball courts side by side and a lot of open land including the handball court which remains in the same spot today. Who’s responsible for cleaning this playground? It’s filthy and there are so many mosquitoes. I try to bring my 3 year outdoors to have fun with kids her age but this playground is the pits. Garbage was everywhere and I’m not only talking about trash on the ground. The older kids who hang out here really ruin the experience but that’s not the city’s fault....

My kids like going here because we pass it going to my Dad's. As a parent though, there have been several times I made my kids leave and we drove to another park just because it was so dirty.
