Hops Kitchen — Restaurant in New York

I ordered from here everyday for the past week. I always order fried chicken crispy & a couple shrimp rolls. Usually the fried chicken is good & the shrimp rolls are good but a little greasy at times. Well today i wanted to order something different so i ordered orange chicken. It was Disgusting, HARD & OLD! When i first bit into the orange chicken it was hard as a rock i had to spit it out. Not only that it tasted very very old. The sauce was so nasty and old tasting i couldn't eat it if i tried. Also not sure if its even chicken looked like the cut the chicken pieces or (whatever meat it is) in half. i was expecting more based on previous reviews. as far your local chinese food spot goes, i was thoroughly unimpressed. i ordered chicken and broccoli; the chicken was far too thin and the whole meal was extremely oily, the sauce too runny, and the taste was overall extremely bland. the vegetable lo mein had the same issues and was also bland. i had ordered in advance for pick up and the person on the phone said to be there before a certain time, which i did, though it was very difficult to achieve. when i got there, they had not even begun the meal. very poor service,...

My aunt came from Florida and she rarely comes. We decided to to get her food here because, well, we always order here. The food we got today was absolutely disgusting. We all tried each others food and confirmed that it was not good at all. Extremely disappointed. I can not give this place another chance. They already ruined my aunts experience. She love New York Chinese food and to have bad New York Chinese when you are rarely in New York and on vacation is absolutely unforgivable. I have no idea how they even have got 4 stars.
