Liquor City USA — Attraction in New York

I wish I could give zero stars to this place.

Wow! I've never experienced such terrible customer service in an establishment. I went all the way over there to bring a bottle of wine back because the cork was stuck & the bottle was cracking. The guy Spencer refused to give us another bottle but instead tried to open the bottle and he took a really long time. After that we were asking if they could put the cork back in so that we wouldn't get pulled over with an open bottle. Spencer was so rude and said "well if you would have used this bottle opener you wouldn't have had that problem.

He made rude comments and we bought even more liquor. But then my sister said "why such attitude? If anything you should be more accommodating " & he said " yeah I am I opened the bottle for you, that's the accommodation " then we asked the girl who the manager was and she said he was the manager. My experience in this store was extremely poor. When I was about to make my purchase they stated do not take any credit cards that no do have a chip. I asked the salesman if the size of liquor I bought was a medium, he confirmed and when I went to another liquor store it was the small one I had purchased!! Very misleading, They have no signage stating they do not take credit cards without a chip. Mila that works there was rude as I was talking to her, she turned her back to me and rolled her eyes giving me attitude. Like she was disturbed... furthermore I found the same liquor I bought at this store over priced by $5 so of course since they're over priced they have a "no refund policy" noted on the receipt. I'll never step foot in this store, over priced and poor customer service!! They do not even deserve a 1 star as lousy...

Experience was great, I recently moved to the area, Forest Ave, and went to this place first. I love the people that work there. Great customer service and they always wonder how your day/night is going. Since the day I walked in I always have a convo with whoever is working. They're just great people. Prices are decent compared to other liquor store I visited in New York. They always have what I want, and the area this liquor is located is in a convenient area where i can buy multiple daily items I need, including my favorite whiskey.
