Great, peaceful place to jog, bike, or just sit. Wooden boardwalk and informational panels give it the feel of walk through the Botanical Gardens. I feel it is one of the small, hidden gems that make up New York City.

It is a piece of very nice marsh land. You will never realize it is a parking lot before. This project uncovered the historical character of Randall island. The information panels of salt marsh land are very helpful.

One of the good spots worth checking out on Randall’s Island. It looks like it’s the newest addition to the otherwise outdated park. Extremely informative placards places throughout the marsh that educates you about why marshes are important and the impact they have on the ecosystem. They just need stricter enforcement of cyclists who speed and cruise by you so fast as you’re reading the placards. They’re not supposed to be riding their bikes on the bridges but no one is following that rule. There needs to be someone stationed enforcing this rule. A few kids from a a amp almost got knocked over by reckless bike riders speeding through while they were reading the placards. Dangerous situation, and a lawsuit...

I stopped going through there on my bike because I had an accident & broke a bone on my wrist when I went over that small bridge & tried to stop on the wood bridge when it was wet going down & me & my bike went airborne. There should at least be a sign saying that this wood becomes slippery on the way down when it gets wet or put some kind of grip on the side that goes into Wards Island cause it's dangerous & I was only going like 5 mph, pressed the brakes & my bike went sideways & no...

Went here to smoke and enjoy the view. Also use the bathroom while I was here for a while. The people here seem to be very friendly and encouraging to speak to you at any given Sunday. It’s a good place to walk your dog and it’s also a Playground...
