MKR Medical PC — Attraction in New York

So this place is simply an unprofessional facility that is designed to take advantage of people's insurance. I've been there twice and yet to see an actual medical doctor or be diagnosed. I was put on an antibiotic that has a possible side effect of tendon rupture and was not informed of this risk. I found out after i went to urgent care 2 days later and stopped taking it immediately. They overbook and will leave you sitting in the waiting area for an hour or more. Even if the waiting area is empty you will be left to sit there. There is zero respect for your time! I was on work time and couldn't just wait however long they feel like keeping me waiting. When I asked them what's happening I got a confrontational response of basically you can wait or get out. The place is unkept with stained ceilings and paint peeling off the walls. Their exam room is just a designated corner in the back with a free standing accordion style shade as the door. There is no presence of an actual doctor. The staff seems to be trained to run you through then charge your insurance and send you on your way. They do testing that isn't relevant to the purpose of your visit. I made a mistake choosing this facility. If you need a doctor please find a better place or just simply go to urgent care. MKR Medical is an excellent facility. From the time you walked in you're greeted by two beautiful sets of people Dave and Stephanie who gets you setup pretty quickly. Angela or Sahna then takes you in whereby they take your medical information to get you set up to see the doctor. They two are beautiful set of people because they make you feel very comfortable that they will take care of you. Next, you have Deborah. She is the technician who sets you at ease while doing your test. Then you have Sitara, who is simply beautiful! She loves to assists people with finding solutions to any personal situations they may be experiencing. So, if you are looking that kind assistance look no further. Next in line, Maria the NP. She just loves everyone and likes to see everyone doing fine, so she will do her best to see that happens. Finally, Dr. Rybstein. He's a terrific Doctor. He really does know his stuff. He listens and works with you to find a workable solution to resolving your situation. Don’t come here to get a physical. The staff is really nice, but their services are unreliable. I came here to get a physical done for school which required Tdap titers. I come back a week later for my follow up to see they forgot to do a third of my titers. When I asked after it, the provider and MA staff did not seem to know what Tdap is and confused it with TB in several interactions. I got my blood drawn a second time, and my patient portal indicated the specimen they sent to the lab was unlabeled, causing me not to received my full Tdap titers a second time! I was eventually told over the phone it would be best to try receiving these titers at another practice. I was given no referral. If my insurance was any worse, I would not have had the means to go elsewhere and would have had some major issue with enrollment to school over this. I feel pretty cheated knowing I spent money on a copay, an extra fee for having my papers filled out, but did not receive the full services I paid for, making me spend an ADDITIONAL copay elsewhere to finish my physical.
