If I could give them zero stars, I would. This is a predatory company. They prey on people in bad situations and take advantage of them. New york city should really step in and look at these people and how they do business. I gave them a deposit of $250 and filled out their application. And hopes of finding a role because I was in the desperate situation. I gave them a two week timeframe for when I how to move from my current address. They contacted me two days before I was supposed to move, asking if I was available to look rooms. Of course, anyone with common sense will not wait for this short of time frame to move. I found a room on my own. I spoke to the contact from the company. I ask them, can I have my deposits because, because they didn't render any services. I did not receive any rooms to look at form. They did not contact me one time with an address. Again, I used my own resources and found my own place to stay. So I think it's only right that you should refund the person for services that you did not render. Nowhere, did anyone tell me that my the deposit was not refundable. If I was told that I would have demanded places to look at before I made a deposit. Which is normal practice for a upstanding realtor. I recommend if you are looking for a place to say to use websites that are reputable.Add that you do not have to pay for. That way, you can work on your own time. Frame, and do not have to wait for 2 days before you are required to move for someone to contact you.Still, with no addresses to look at.Just asking me when you are available. And also websites are free. They are not looking to take advantage of people down on their luck. Seems like they have already been reported to the BBB Several times.    Read moreWe was looking for rooms for rent Erica's name came up, we called her she spoke very kindly, she said that she thinks that she have something for us. we went on to explain to Erica that we was using public transportation and we needed some consideration. she assured us that she had a place for us. the next day we went to an address that she gave us. It was a studio apartment, the lady and her two kids was lounging on the couch, pull out couch in the living room and we would have to walk by them and go into the bedroom which was filthy. we was polite as possible and we left. then she sent us to another address pretty much the same situation but the lady didn't speak English and it was lack of communication. she gave us three days to move out after we moved in for 2 days. then she goes on to promise another place (she was on her job). she sent us to a dirty place, that room was actually a closet. they wanted 275 a week. then she sent us to the another two places in Manhattan/ they wanted 300 a week. we went to two or three spots that was filthy and was extra small. now today is Thursday I have till Saturday to kindly leave this woman's house/ and I will in as much as it's possible. we gave Ericka $300 for her to disrespect us. we spend $100 on public transportation to look for a room. now remember we are on her timeline and the house owner, so when they gave us the time to be there we had to be there, catching Ubers, etc. not once did she apologize. she act like she's the victim. she's insulted that I accused her of what she was doing to us. as I spoke to her she said I am hurting her feelings. we will cease from speaking to her, now I'm going to request to speak to her supervisor. my personal opinion after asking around, I don't believe that she treats black...
Read moreSo far my experience has been amazing. I walked up and the front of the building wasnât the least bit run down. Just looked like any other NY business. I walked in to a very clean, well maintained, organized building. With two very professional, kind, and efficient women; Yessica and Erika. I came in at 4pm, talked to Erika (who was great,) told her my budget and what I was looking for/where etc. We quickly came to a compromise and found a place that worked perfectly. Within a few minutes I was able to check the room out. The room was clean and organized. The landlord is a very nice lady. Everything went very smoothly. I paid the landlord (which she was very flexible about; payment types, amount, etc.,) got the keys, and now Iâm on the train going to get my stuff. Itâs 5:45pm. I walked around and looked at the stores in the area for a solid 30 minutes before getting on the train too. This experience worked perfect for me so far. Iâll edit this review or write a new one if anything else happens. As of right now; excellent. Definitely would recommend this to anyone including my closest friends. Like many people have said, not quite sure what all the bad reviews are about. Most of the people writing bad reviews seem to be people I wouldnât hang out with, Iâll just put it that way. Donât quite know what youâre expecting when you want same day $200 weekly rent rooms. Anyways, like you I was reading through these reviews, pretty skeptical and a bit worried. I decided to roll the dice a bit and take the chance. Couldnât be happier with my decision. If I can give you a word of advice. Do it. Make sure youâre getting what you want and be forward with your needs. But do it. If youâre a normal flexible human being whoâs understanding, youâre good. Hope this...
