Absolute nightmare experience. Drug shortage made my regular pharm unable to fill an entire prescription, my dr. sent a script for the balance to this pharm. Everyone I spoke to was nasty ESPECIALLY the pharmacist herself. She had a problem with the fact that that my Humana insurance is not effective til next month and REFUSED to accept cash because I live in nj but have the gall to continue to use my SI based Dr. She implied that I must be trying to scam for the above named reasons and also because the VALID script was for pain medication. They told me my dr. had to mark the script "for chronic pain" which my Dr. did, sending the script a 2nd time. They still refused to fill the script. My Dr. then sent the script to Hylan Medicine and they couldn't have been nicer. They had no issues with my VALID prescription. Obviously the pharmacist at Ocean Breeze believes it is OK to impose her own personal prejudices and illegal conditions under which she will or will not fill scripts. AVOID...
Read moreWe have been using this pharmacy for years because the service at 1 time was great, but their service has gone so far downhill. They have these unprofessional teenagers working there that are very rude and disrespectful. They continue to make mistakes and send incorrect items, even though we get the same thing every month. One of my medications alone is over $2000 a month, so between my wife's prescriptions and mine, they get about $5000 a month there which they will no longer be getting because we are switching pharmacies, because that's how bad it has become there. The owner has no control at all. It is a free-for-all in that pharmacy. I am switching to a new pharmacy. I will no longer use ocean breeze for anything, not even an Aspirin. I don't know how the owner allows this to go on. If one of my employees in my store ever treared a customer the way ocean breeze employees treat their customers, they would be fired on the spot. Read moreI would give a zero if possible, I really wish the owner of this pharmacy would hire adults and not Children who consistently whisper behind the pharmacy counter regarding customers medication in total violation of H.I.P.P.A regulations, or complain about how customers have “the nerve to pick up their medication at 9am on a Friday when they only opened an hour ago”. If the job is so bad then please leave and let an adult have that position. This place needs a serious overhaul, if not for gossiping going on then it’s young girls dancing what they should really be doing is teaching themselves how to operate their computer system because there are a few that can’t even figure out birthdates!!
