I'm a 68 Y/O male that likes to stay active, however my younger years of playing different sports have caught up with me. Since retiring fifteen years ago I've had two knee operations, two total hip replacements, and two shoulder operations. Looking back at that I should be a physical wreck, but not so, I got lucky. After my knee surgeries I was referred to Professional Physical Therapy, the therapists there were very friendly and eager to get me back on my feet. My long relationship with PPT has always been a pleasant one, each therapist I encountered was genuinely interested in my overall well-being, and patiently listened to all my issues no matter how small. They focused on each and every issue and only moved forward when I was ready. I did not meet Viveck until my first hip replacement. Just like the other PT's he was very professional and thorough, the hip replacements were my toughest times at PPT and Viveck was definitely the man for the job. He helped me plow through this tough time with ease and confidence. In my more difficult times he reasured me that we would get to where I needed to be and like he said, I eventually got there only to be back about a year later due to complications and a second total hip procedure; the hip was improperly placed the first time leaving me with a painfull limp. As luck would have it Viveck and a few other PT's attended to me, mainly Viveck, I think he enjoyed torturing me with the stretches. I also had two shoulder surgeries which I went to Viveck for. So as you can see I can go on and on about Viveck and his skills with the same results because he is very good at what he does. I have stayed with Viveck because of how thorough he was getting me back to my normal activities. He always amazed me with how after a few simple questions and a little manipulation of the limbs in question he would pinpoint exactly where the problem was and attack it successfully. His professionalism and the fact that he is so easy going and funny while doing his work lets me know that he is very competent at he does. I am now back at PPT for back and ankle issues, (a small rollerblading accident). Viveck and his team at throgsneck PPT have found new gadgets to torture people with and as usual I am progressing rapidly. I now am teaching my 12 Y/O grandson and 16 Y/O grand niece how to play soft ball, rollerblade, and play basketball. A sign of the times when a guy my age has to teach kids what I grew up doing normally, it keeps them active and away from their phones and laptops and a blessing for me. Thanks PPT and thank you Viveck for always being...
Read moreI don't usually leave posts but due to one individuals callousness and incentive attention, I just had too. For the record, the physical therapy staff is Amazing. They do care and shown tremendous compassion. I've been going their for some time now and Mr. Gregorio usually takes care of me. He's patient and addresses my concerns. I currently have sciatica and I'm in tremendous chronic pain all day long. On December 6, 2022 Mr. Gregorio informed me that I could come in @7pm Thursday December 8, 2022. When I called at approximately 6:45 pm the receptionist Tina answered the call. I told her that I should be there in a few minutes and that I'm tremendous pain. She immediately told me, "You're Not on the schedule" I then informed her that Mr. Gregorio told me to come in @7pm. She said, "we'll He's on vacation". I told her that I am on the schedule and that she could contact him to confirm. I was under the impression, that when a medical professional is on leave, the replacement is briefed on the client list. That being said, it's not my fault that the front didn't do their job or communicate with my therapist. She then got Nasty and told me that "I don't like your tone and no one speaks to me that way!" She then slams the phone down hanging up on me. At no time did she show any remorse, care or attempted to help me. I literally had to have my wife get me into the car due to my pain and Tina completely ignored my care. For the record, this isn't the 1st time that she's been rude but I ignored it due to your staff being so kind. I then called back several times but the calls where monitored and no one answered. I finally spoke to Saeed and he was able to get Corpuz who was covering for Mr. Gregorio. She is Amazing and not the first time that she's addressed my therapy. Your receptionist is cantankerous, callous, and in my opinion needs to be retrained reprimanded or removed from this unit. Her attention to care is a failure and at no time did she even attempt to contact Mr. Gregorio yet confirm my appointment with him. I'm appalled at how I was treated and hope that this does not happen to anyone else! I would love to speak to the owners and continue with my services but at this time I may have to find a new home just...
Read moreI have been going there since July 3, 2021 prior my total hip replacement. The staff during the beginning of my treatment was great, I had no issues and they did their best to help me until I became bone on bone. I even recommended them to the athletic department in my school. On February 7th I had my hip replacement and was cleared to continue my treatment on my 61st birthday February 25th. Everything was fine until recently the billing department started billing my insurance with the incorrect code and using the PT's name not the company, so my insurance has declined 7 visits. The staff is good but the way their main billing department bills claims is horrible. I am very stressed out, to the point I am forced to cancel my next appointment until this is solved. I cannot believe that their negligence in doing their job/billing correctly has impacted my treatment to improve my hip and knee. I hear this has happened to other patients too. I have called the main billing office and all they say is it will not happen again. Oh well it has happened 7 times since that first call, and now I cannot go to my remaining appointments until this is solved. Something is not right, they do not bill correctly but tell you they take your insurance. Check your claims with your insurance, and make sure they bill your claim correctly if not you will be told you owe them. I hope I can continue my treatments. I still need to get my hip, muscles, and knee strong. Let's see...
