It's a nice, quaint and quiet atmosphere. The overwhelming majority of trees provide much needed shade in areas. The trail is not too long, not too short...just right to travel amongst back and forth for exercise or leisure. The only reason for giving it 4 stars is due to the season: pollen is an issue. It's everywhere. And given that we're currently experiencing a pandemic where touching your face and wiping outside particles from your eyes is problematic - it presents itself as a hassle (to say the least). Come prepared with either goggles, spectacles, a wash rag, and hand sanitizer....
Read moreUnlike Castle Hill Park, where it just feels like a trail along the countryside, this park truly makes you feel like you're in the middle of nowhere. Thick trees and the sounds of nature really add to the ambiance. It has a much longer trail than the aforementioned park, and at one point, you can experience an even better view of Pugsley Creek (which is very appropriate, hence this park's name). There is also a fitness area and sports courts. But I do not recommend going through this park in the dark cause certain areas of the park are pitch black cause...
Read moreReally peaceful park. There are places (benches, rocks, etc.) to sit at along the creek and enjoy nature and scenery. There's a great view of the whitestone bridge on the castle hill side of the park. If you're lucky you'll see a swan or two in the creek. There's also an amazing trail, which is the best part of the park. It's a little over a mile long. Along the way you'll come across workout equipment and a basketball court. The park is great for bike riding, walking dogs, or taking a walk alone or with loved ones. I'm really happy this...
