Rockaway Beach Boardwalk Roller Hockey Rink — Attraction in New York

Came here on a Saturday with some friends and visited Beach 91-93 at 3:00pm. It's ideal for suffers. Our kids wanted to bodysurf and play at the skateboard park which is right there. Street side parking can be full, but we got lucky being that it was in the afternoon. Bathrooms were nearby. However, it was really packed and we didn't like it that much because there's hardly any sand and the tide was getting high, our beach blanket got soaked as waves were coming on shore strong. Overall the beach is beautiful, it's a quiet place, there's parks near for the kids, few places to eat and handball/basketball courts, you can get here by ferry, train, car or bus. Warning!! Be very careful the waves here can be very dangerous, specially for kids.
