Had the most relaxing afternoon at Spa Rockaway. Started with the most amazing hour long deep tissue massage with Jamie. This was my first time with Jamie. I have had lots of massages in my lifetime at various types of spas/salons- honestly, Jamie performed the most incredible soothing and relaxing massage that I have ever experienced. The pressure point technique she used was by far the most effective I have ever experienced. I have very problematic neck & shoulder pain for years - related to my autoimmune issues & arthritis/ Lupus issues- which is exacerbated by stress & of course the weather. Jamie has been the only one ever to sooth my neck & shoulder pain. I glided off the massage table free of pain! I honestly had no pain in neck or shoulder ! I was floored. Just. Unbelievable!!! Jamie has the hands of an angel!

Next - onto my hour long Spa Rockaway Signature Facial with Lynn. I love seeing Lynn. I go into Lynn with my skin looking dull, dry, fatigued and lifeless. I feel worn out - tired and sad looking. Lynn puts me on the table- puts me into a deep state of deep relaxation within seconds- honestly sometimes ( I fall asleep). Lynn performs her magic on me. First my face, neck head and shoulders receive a massage. How could a person not fall asleep! Next, intensive serums are gently rubbed on/ off to cleanse my face- hydrate my face. Various tools are used across my face to plump, cleanse and detox my facial skin. Warm towels are placed on/off my face. One such serum even tingles or as Lynn says ‘effervescence’ while it’s on my skin. Lastly, an intense hydrating moisturizer is put on my skin before. I leave and - I come out with brand new looking refreshed skin. My skin has been rehydrated- and. refreshed. My pores are cleaned and tightly closed. My eyes even glisten. I look and feel great. I’m ready to take on the world again!! Thank you Lynn for always bringing back my inner beauty to the topside. You give my strength back! After spending two hours at Spa Rockaway I feel like WONDER WOMAN!!

I visited Spa Rockaway for the first time today! I called to book a same day appointment with Sandy because I noticed she had great reviews. I was quickly accommodated by the lovely receptionist, I think her name started with a T but I could be wrong. I was lucky to meet her in person when I showed up for my appointment. She was super kind and even offered me tea!

I met with Sandra (Sandy) for my Deep Muscle Meltdown massage. As I entered the back where the massage room are located I was pleased with the aesthetics and I already began to feel relaxed while also excited for the service. Upon entering the massage room I noticed how clean it was and Sandy made me feel comfortable right away by showing me where I can place my clothes, how I should lie on the bed, and she asked just the right questions to know exactly what I was looking for in my experience today. Sandy is also super knowledgeable and shared with me exactly what areas she would be targeting after she learned about my daily activities through her targeted questions.

I was looking for a professional, quality spa close to home for a massage. I Googled and found Spa Rockaway and read about the services they offer on their website, and their reviews on social media. LaTonya was friendly and helpful when I called. They were able to accommodate me for a same day appointment. I was intrigued by the Reiki Healing and decided to try that and a one hour massage. Jamie gave me the most relaxing and thorough massage and the Reiki healing was absolutely peaceful! I felt so light during my appointment, I decided I would buy a package before I left so I could come back regularly - something I've never done before. Jamie is a gem and was on target with everything - her energy, talent, choice of essential oils, perfect amount of pressure, and her light, caring personality! Just 4 days later I went back and Kate assisted me with my appointment for another Reiki healing/massage with Jamie. She was friendly, professional and informative. I left feeling even more peaceful and lighter than I had the first time. Spa Rockaway is a treasure tucked away in Queens.
