C & L Tire — Local services in New York

Had a slow leak and went hoping for a plug, was told I needed a new tire I said ok sure why not, the man working there showed me a tire I thought looked a little aggressive on the tread but stupidly I trusted him, turns out it was a winter tire.. was pretty upset but decided to order a nice set of all new tires online, went back and said listen you sold me a winter tire my other 3 are regular that's not right please refund me for the tire I put maybe 20 miles on and I will gladly pay you to replace all 4 of my tires.. he would not have it and just kept repeating I cant run a business like that.. I said I'm trying to give you my business what you did was wrong but I'm giving you a great chance to make it right.. left and had a very nice experience with the professionals across the street at mobil who could not believe he wouldnt make it right after such blatant wrongdoing. Will never be going back to...

Have had multiple great experiences here but today I went by and asked the man a simple question, do you buy tires? And he said no which is respectable. Afterwards I simply asked if he had any referrals to somewhere else I can go to sell my four tires I dont need and he responded very angrily with a loud tone of voice saying “excuse me?! I jus told you I do NOT buy tires, why would I refer business elsewhere if it doesn’t benefit me?!” Uhh maybe because I need the service, it was jus an easy question that ended with the attitude of a young diva. I was baffled! But won’t be going there any longer, sorry fella I’m all for support of local establishments but if your a dooch then...

This place SUCKS! They have no interest in customer service whatsoever. If your situation is not 100% convenient to them, you will NOT BE HELPED. And, RUDE. There is no excuse for rude behavior towards customers, not even in NYC. FDNY friends had recommended this business. I will make sure they know NOT to ever do so again. My two new tires were purchased just a ways down the road from a place that had actual good customer service. Glad these losers...
