Soarin' Eagle — Attraction in New York

We got on the ride and immediately I felt uneasy! The cage shut on us and I felt no containment holding me inside. I wasn't sure if I needed to climb up higher or was secured properly as I could move the shoulder harnesses up and down and there was no interaction or instruction from the ride operator. We climbed in and almost immediately left the loading area. At one point during the ride, I felt like I was going to lose my footing and slip out the bottom. BE CAREFUL!!!!!!!!! I went for my first ride today and I could not believe what almost happened: the instructor got distracted with the girl who was checking the tickets and did not see me and my cousin positioned on the stand-up seats to go for the ride! I had to scream several times for him to see us and come running to close the belts on our backs!!! Very weird and fun coaster. Be warned, it is not quite comfortable and its rough BUT very fun!! Some of my rides on it were pain free but most of the time i came off a bit sore, but still I certainly recommend this weird cool coaster.
