Years ago I had heard about the legendarily soundsystem of this ride on a BBC documentary about disco music, so when I finally got to NYC I was super excited to make a couple of rides in between the speakers of Richard Long’s last remaining soundsystem. We were the only couple to enter since it was still early in the afternoon and they let us ride longer than usual while we enjoyed three Michael Jackson songs that sounded like we never had heard before. Worth the pilgrimage to Coney Island. I sincerely hope that Eldorado and its unique sound system will survive many more years as a showcase of the sound of the 70s...
   Read moreA most unique experience riding these bumper cars as the area is air conditioned which I've never seen in bumper cars the sound system is also from the person that put together the Studio 54 system as well as other famous the guys that work the ride are real New Yorkers and not in a bad way they're great I went there for my birthday one time and they gave me and my friends a free ride and played my favorite songs I highly suggest visiting this unique experience sometimes people don't even bump they just all cruise to the music it's really awesome...

Then raced my dads 71 LaSabre with 455 engine on Fountain Ave. Those were great days. Well doing Howard Bch to VZ Bridge bike ride ( On the Belt ) Sunday. Pit stop in CI for Bumper Cars and Nathan’s.
