Our experience to "Place to Beach" was great. Was our first time there. We arrived around 1030pm on a Friday I believe it was. The place already had a lot of people inside. And there was a long line outside. We waiting in line, while some girlfriends went to the restroom. They came back like 15minutes later. And we only moved about 5feet in line. So we asked if we could get in faster with bottle service. And luckily that was the case. So we didn't have to wait as long. If you don't mind spending as lil more money for extra time of fun. Then definitely do so. Prices were pretty good for the bottles too. The bottle girls were very helpful as well. As you can tell from the pictures I took from a video I had recorded. Sorry about the blurriness by the way. They also have hookah as well if your into that. From my friends reactions, the hookah was good and fresh I believe they said.

If I could put -10 ,I would! The worst service ever! We not even enter to the place to eat and we ask where the bathroom because my boyfriend couldn't hold no more and I was about to order food for us. Guy at the bar tell us where to go ,but as soon as we enter guy who called himself a manager start yelling at my boyfriend and treating to call to security on us ! This "manager" talk to us so mean ,this is racism ,my boyfriend is black! But I will not let no one treat him ! This place should be shut down! They are RACISTS! We lost our appetite after that and this "manager" ask us to leave ! I never ever experienced this "kind" of horrible service in my entire life!

This abomination is being passed off as a "cheesesteak." I know what a real cheesesteak should look and taste like, but what I got was anything but a cheesesteak. The bread wasn’t crusty or hollow, the onions weren’t caramelized or flavorful, the meat was of poor quality, overcooked, not on the griddle, and mixed with who knows what. The whole plate was too salty because of the cheese and the onion texture was predominant- it was completely inedible. There’s a guard before the tables who makes a fuss about letting you in, but then some people get in anyway and try to steal food from the plate. Sorry for sharing this:

On August 28th, my girlfriends and I went to A Place To Beach, a restaurant in Coney Island. We each had food and one margarita. After I drank about half of my drink, I started to feel my legs going numb. I knew right away that something was wrong, so I went to sit down, and I began to throw up. One of my girlfriends took me to the restroom where I passed out. A bouncer went into the restroom and said that the owner wanted us out of the restaurant. My girlfriend pleaded with them, explaining that she didn't know what was wrong with me, that I only drank half a glass of margarita, and that I'm a decent person. Yet, the bouncer picked me up and took me outside of the restaurant, and left me on the boardwalk. When I came to, I was in the emergency room, strapped to a bed. I was dazed and confused, and didn't know what had happened to me. My cell phone and designer eyeglasses were stolen at the restaurant. I knew I was drugged. The whole day was a nightmare that I wish no one ever has to experience. I felt the need to warn people about my experience in...

I came here over the summer with a whole bunch of coworkers as part of the livingsocial eat and play experience, wristband & all. After an afternoon of exploring the rides, we finally made out way over to Place to Beach (bit of a walk, tucked pretty far back from the exit we came out of)

After much deliberation, I used my $10 voucher for a $13 steak burrito, opting for about everything I could add (including guac). Burrito was juicy and flavorful, although it must have been the guac. Coworkers complained their meal had little to no flavor...

Besides splitting the burrito with me, s/o and I topped off this snack with sangria and frozen margaritas. I can't speak to the 'ritas on the rocks but the frozen ones came out looking like a Wendy's frosty and packed a surprising punch. SO's red sangria tasted grapey while the white was less fruity-sweet but much tastier.

I enjoyed myself, with the company, food & drinks. Our time there was made even more special by a wedding party walking through-- nice bride let her bridesmaids wear some gorgeous...

My favorite spot during the summer! Only 2 reasons that I gave them 4 stars is because of the following:

  1. Depending on the bartender that you go to, they will have certain drinks. For example, I went to one bartender and she told me that they didn't have passion fruit margarita, but on the same day, half an hour later, I went to another bartender and she was able to serve me a passion fruit margarita.
  2. The other reason is because I went on Sunday before Memorial Day and there were some obnoxious, drunk females, dancing and bumping into people and tables, additionally one of them took her top off and was showing her breasts off and the only thing security kept doing was telling them to quiet down, instead of kicking them out. It was during the day and there were a couple of families with kids there, including my family! Other than that, I have no complaints about this place. Good drinks, great ambiance (when there are not obnoxious...
